Prayer for God’s Will for a Marriage

Father,

I love you! You are our Maker. You are called the Lord of Hosts; The Holy One of Israel and Redeemer. But, there is more. You chose to name Yourself, Husband. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. (Isaiah 54:5) You called Yourself a Husband to the children of Israel. You are the perfect Husband.  You love devotedly. You never leave. Your heart aches with compassion. You provide for all needs. You defend. You protect. I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.  I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD. (Hosea 2:19-20) Your love never changes. No one has to worry if You are going to withdraw Your love. You love even when we are unfaithful.  You are a Jealous God; with a furious love for us. (Exodus 34:14)

With grateful hearts we thank YOU for loving us this fiercely. (Song of Songs 8:6-7)

Father, You are the mirror of what a husband should be to his wife. The ancient Hebrew word ish translates to “husband.” The root meaning to ish is “to marry.”  Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24) You ordained marriage as TWO becoming ONE. The meaning of “ONE” in the ancient hebrew text is to be “united” and to “agree.”(Strongs 259/3391) This union is powerful for Your Kingdom purposes! For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. (Matthew 18:20) Marriage is a powerful union called to make Your Name Known and to further Your Kingdom. Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. (Psalm 105:1) Two becoming One, with You being their foundation, has always been Your heart.  And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12) Hell cannot prevail against these three strands! AMEN!

You created us for love and unity. Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2:18) You did not want man to be alone and out of great compassion “made” for him a “helper.” Helper means so much in this verse. A “helper suitable for him” means this: “help that surrounds and protects one who is suffering or in a difficult situation.”(Strongs 5826/5828) What beauty is found in these two people called together as ONE; to surround and protect each other from the difficulties of a fallen world and to glorify Your Name for Your Kingdom’s sake, together; as ONE.  This marriage in agreement with Your will and ways is the most powerful force on the earth. AMEN!

Father, In the Mighty Name of Jesus I ask for You to strengthen the marriage of my friend. I pray both partners know they were chosen by You and trusted by You to erase loneliness; to defend, to love, and to protect their love in trying times. Give them wisdom generously as they help each other in reaching their dreams, calling, and their highest potential for Your Kingdom work. (James 1:5) I pray no weapon formed against this relationship to prosper. (Isaiah 54:17) I pray this marriage be rooted and grounded in Your love. Bind them together with Your love, as ONE.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. (Colossians 3:14) May Your love for them overflow from each of their hearts with loyalty abounding. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. (1 Thessalonians 3:12) AMEN!

Father, what does Your child do if their “helper” is part of their difficulties in this fallen world? They need to give it to YOU. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10) Your Word says You will perfect that which concerns us. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. (Psalm 138:8) NKJV Thank You Father that You are perfecting what is concerning in this marriage and directing their steps, as well as closing doors, to avoid unwanted heartache and pain in this holy marriage. Your child needs to be reminded of this: What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide. (Mark 10:9). Your child needs to cling to this promise: I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. (Joel 2:25) You are the Repairer of the Breach. Restore this family brilliantly, as only You know how. AMEN!

I pray this marriage and family glorifies Your Holy Name!

This prayer is  for those who are single and waiting on God to bring them the one their heart yearns for. IMPORTANT! If you are married (even if having marital troubles) tomorrow’s prayer will be this prayer applied to your marriage. You don’t want to miss this prayer. Very powerful! Love, Love, Love Sheila

Prayer for your future Husband/Wife:

Father,

Your Word says You will perfect that which concerns us. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. (Psalm 138:8) NKJV Thank You Father that You are perfecting and directing their steps as well as closing doors to avoid unwanted heartache and pain. I pray my friend’s heart is protected and kept pure until the day they meet the one heaven has matched for them. AMEN! Father, it is time to bring this man and woman together for Your Kingdom’s sake. I pray that it is time. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Day 17 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Day 17 of prayer for “The Power of the Three Stranded Prayer” Family,

Family,
So many have requested this prayer, “Restore All Things Back to Your Daughter”  I wrote last year. Here it is. Replace Daughter with Son if you need to. May God hear our prayers! Love You and AMEN!

Father,

I love you! I approach Your throne of grace with confidence in Your everlasting unconditional love for my friend. (Hebrews 4:16) Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask you to be the “Restorer of the Breach” for your daughter. (Isaiah 58:12) Restore back to her a strained relationship she holds very dear in her heart. (Joel 2:25)  Bring wisdom, forgiveness, and understanding into each heart involved today. (James 1:5, 1 John 1:9, and Psalm 119:130) Pour Your love into all wounded hearts supernaturally. (Romans 5:5)

Show Your daughter You restore all things brand new and when YOU author a restoration things will soon be better than they have ever been. (2 Corinthians 5:17)  Remind her You are the One who can change the heart of kings. (Proverbs 21:1) How? Your love. Your love is louder than any pain, regret, or seemingly impossible situation. (Jeremiah 32:17) Father, may the two seeking reconciliation be overwhelmed with this love that can erase a wrong, give a second chance, and change a stony heart. (Ezekiel 36:26) May the healing power of forgiveness and true agape love overcome your daughter’s weary and torn heart. (Luke 7:47)

Daddy, work it out so your daughter completely forgets the pain she has become acquainted with during this difficult time. (Genesis 41:51) You will faithfully wipe away every tear from her eyes personally. (Revelation 21:4)  You will remember Your daughter’s cry for restoration by “working all things out for her good.” (Romans 8:28). Reward her for seeking and trusting You by answering this prayer exceedingly and abundantly more than she can DREAM. (Hebrews 11:6 and Ephesians 3:20)

Father, create a healthy and God-honoring relationships for your daughter and her loved ones.  In Your wisdom, reveal blind spots and hidden scars to be healed. Bring into the light words that have wounded, actions that have broken hearts, and hidden thoughts that have poisoned minds to not forgive or forget. (Ephesians 4:32)  Show your daughter where she needs to re-train her thoughts and re-new her mind to Your will of total forgiveness. (Romans 12:2) Teach her to forgive completely, the way You do. (Matthew 5:48) There can be no future for her without forgiveness. (Luke 6:37) Show her true love forgives and frees.

Father, You have taught us to bless and pray for those who have hurt us, abused, or left us.  You restored back DOUBLE to Job when he prayed for the friends. After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10. Do the same for my friend. Restore back to her dignity, respect, and honor as she yields her heart to obey You and forgive. Where she does not want to forgive overrule her flesh. (Mark 14:38) When she struggles with this weakness be her strength. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Where she needs forgiveness grant that request. In Jesus’ Name.

Do not let Satan outwit Your daughter with his schemes. Teach her forgiveness is Your heart. This is why You are named the “Restorer of the Breach.” If there is anything to forgive I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Help her to forgive so she can be forgiven.(Matthew 6:15)  Show her to believe in love over all things especially wrongs against her. (1 Corinthians 13)

“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person.”
Corinthians 13:7 (AMP)

Last, whisper in her ear to forgive herself. For she is worthy of your love, worthy of Your Son’s death, and worthy of the blood that cleanses her whole and healthy.  She is worthy!  She has humbled herself to forgive and to ask for forgiveness, therefore; You will exalt her head high! Yes, you will. (1 Peter 5:6 and Psalm 3:3) AMEN.

You are worthy my sister. You are a daughter of the Most High God-period! When you fell down, you fell down His daughter. When you get up, you will get up His daughter. You are His child. There is never a time when God is against you, ever! You are His and His attention is upon you. His eye watches you. His hands are here to help you up. His heart is forever faithful to you. It is true. (Revelation 19:11) Amen and Amen.

Father, You are the great I AM. What does that mean for your daughter? You are whatever she needs as she seeks reconciliation. She can fill in the blanks. Say to Your  child, “I AM the Restorer of the Breach, I AM your Healer. I AM your Comforter. I AM your Provider. I AM your Way Maker. I Am the One who makes all things new. I AM the One who loves unconditionally. I AM the One who holds your dreams in My Hands. I AM your help. I AM your strength. I AM anything you need me to be at any time.”

He is YOUR God. He is the Great I AM. (Exodus 3:14)

Day 16 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Day 16 of prayer for “The Power of the Three Stranded Prayer” Family,

Father,

I love you! You are faithful to lavish Your love on Your children. (1 John 3:1) There isn’t a future moment You will love them more and You will never withhold Your love from them, ever. (Romans 8:38-39) You see their afflictions and rescue them willingly. (Psalm 31:7-8) When Your children cry out ‘My foot is slipping’ You keep them from slumbering. (Psalm 121:3) When their anxiety is great You console them with peace. (Psalm 94:18-19)  When an abundance of tears are sown; shouts of joy is what Your children reap. (Psalm 126:5)

When Your child is “wayward of heart” you woo them back. (Hosea 14:4) When Your child needs mercy; You are slow to anger and abounding in love. (Jonah 4:2) When Your child is in lack; You restore back. (Psalm 126:1 and Luke 12:30) When they are sick; You heal them. (Isaiah 53:5)  When they feel forgotten; You are mindful of them. (Psalm 115:12) When Your children need wisdom You give it generously. (James 1:5) They may feel invisible but You have lovingly numbered the very hairs on their heads. “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. “So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:30-31) Your children where dead in their sins; You sent Your Son. (John 3:16-17) You make all things new and right. (Isaiah 30:18 and 2 Corinthians 5:17)

These truths show us Your responses to Your child’s cries are always what they need and more. Your promise is this: What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) AMEN!

Friend, What is the cry of Your heart? What did Satan steal from you that You want back? What did Satan trick you out of You regret? What is your dream, the impossible request, or Your greatest need? Write it down on a piece of paper. Keep the back of the paper blank to fill in how God will eventually answer your cry. Imagine how He could answer. It won’t be even close to what He has planned. You will be astonished. This is how God answers: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Father, Why will You do this? For Your Names Sake! Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power. (Psalm 106:8) May You get all the praise, glory, honor and Your Name be made known! AMEN!

Father, until their prayers are answered, according to Your Word and Will, I ask You to bless them with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places as You have promised. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 1:3)

What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him.

Day 15 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Prayer for Overcoming Unbelief

Father,

I love you! You are not bothered by our requests. You silence the heavens to hear Your children! When Jesus was interrupted while speaking He paused and spoke to the one in distress. What did He say? “Do not fear, only believe.” (Mark 5:35-36) Jesus spoke crystal clear to those whose faith seemed to be wavering; to “not doubt in their heart,” but “only believe.” (Mark 11:24) When Your children’s faith is wavering, teach them how to believe You for the “here and now” and not just the things to come in heaven. (John 3:12) Don’t let them give up! Your children will see you move with their own eyes. I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)  We will wait for You to move and in the meantime we will believe You are moving. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)

Father, Thank you for the warning in Your Word that Satan comes and tries to take away the “Word” You have planted in hearts. Why? So they would not believe.  Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. (Luke 8:11-12) I ask You, in the Name of Jesus, to cover Your child’s heart with the Blood of the Lamb, so Satan cannot come and take Your Word from them before it has time to take root! I pray their hearts to be fertile ground for Your Word to abide in. (Luke 8:15) Their perseverance will do it’s work! Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:4)

Help us overcome our unbelief! (Mark 9:24) We do not want to be like the children of Israel who were not able to enter the Promised Land of “rest” because of their unbelief or callused hearts. (Hebrews 3:19) Help Your children to believe You are taking them to their place of the promised land. (Joshua 21:43) You are working ALL things out for their highest good! (Romans 8:28) We don’t need miracles, signs and wonders to believe You. We believe You because without faith it is impossible to please you. (John 4:48 and Hebrews 11:6) Your children praise You and thank You for strengthening their hearts to be steadfast as we wait and believe! They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. (Psalm 112:7)

Father, Don’t let Satan steal the seed of Your Word planted from prayer!

We don’t want to be like Thomas. He doubted the resurrection! Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” (John 20:27)  May we never doubt the most powerful thing on earth. We believe Your invisible hand is working in our visible world. We do! We will wait on You as You battle for Your child and take ever effort to become more like Your Son during the wait. That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. (Philippians 3:10) YES, in the meantime, we will give, love, serve, pray and meditate on Your Words day and night. (Joshua 1:8) AMEN!

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14)

Day 14 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Day 14 of prayer for “The Power of the Three Stranded Prayer” Family,

Father,

You are not only the God of all Creation; You are Abba, Our Father. You say to Your child: I will be a Father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.     (2 Corinthians 6:18)  Abba translates: “Daddy.” How endearing to allow us to approach Your Holy Throne calling You, “Daddy.” Your child is adopted into Your Family and has the riches of many powerful promises. (Ephesians 1:5 and Romans 8:15) Strengthen Your child’s perception of their identity.  Seal Your love over their hearts. (Song of Songs 8:6) Grant them treasures from their inheritance in Your Holy Word. (Ephesians 1:11)

Your Word brings life into hearts that feel barely beating. (2 Timothy 3:16) You child may feel hopeless but there is no such thing! Your Word has the power to resurrect, change, and restore. (Hebrews 4:12) Your Word abiding in the hearts of Your children can literally move mountains, breathe life into dead bones, and bulldoze the hardest of hearts. (John 15:7 and Romans 10:8)  Your child needs to be reminded You are alert, active, and watching over Your Word to perform it for them. (Jeremiah 1:12) Your word is settled in Heaven and what You purpose is done no matter who is against it. (Psalm 119:89 and Romans 8:31)

Father, What You say is a promise to Your child. Your promise to Your children is just that… a PROMISE. (Numbers 23:19b) There has not failed one Word of Your good promises, ever. (1 Kings 8:56) The Hebraic word for promise is dabar. Which means to arrange, answer, appoint and command. Your promise is their answer! Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23) Your child should be elated with this truth: He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will he not also with Him freely give us all things. (Romans 8:32)

Father, in the Name of Jesus I ask You to answer Your child’s cries with a promise.

Here is your promise from God my sweet friend:

Many are the afflictions of the righteous. But the LORD delivers him from them all!
Psalm 34:19

Day 13 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Day 13 of prayer for “The Power of the Three Stranded Prayer” Family,

Father,

I love you! Thank you for being so FAITHFUL to answer Your child’s prayers. (1 Corinthians 4:9) You want them to “not be afraid; just believe You.” (Mark 5:36) You want them to know You are with them. You are their God and You will cause peace to come onto their scene. (Isaiah 41:10 and Isaiah 57:19) You want Your child to come to You during difficult days. You know they are tired and need rest. (Matthew 11:28) You have not left Your child alone, not for one single minute. (Deuteronomy 31:6) You are near. (James 4:8)  You are here for Your child until the end. (Acts 18:10 and Jeremiah 29:11 KJV) Help them to refuse to be moved by the “seen” and believe in the “unseen” work of Your Capable Hands. (2 Corinthians 4:18) Today, this day, this minute, this second, a new life of freedom, super abundance, unexpected blessings, sudden answers to prayers and happiness begins for them. (Isaiah 43:18-19) Amen and amen again.

Father, Satan might have whispered a time or two in Your child’s ear they are unworthy. When Your child feels unwarranted shame and condemnation, remind them You are not mad but madly in love with them! (Romans 8:38-39)  Make a mighty move today to prove Your love for them just as the father did when the prodigal son came home. This loving father saw the face of his beloved son and called for a celebration! Your child’s face is turned towards You Father, lift their weary head up to see the love in Your eyes and call for a celebration of Your love for them! (Ephesians 3:17-21, Psalm 3:3, 2 Chronicles 16:9, Luke 15:21-22) Your love will heal them. (Psalm 100:5) Amen.

Father, take Your child’s face in Your hands right now and speak to them to “abide” in You continually day and night for protection, wisdom, and strength. Your child can do this by keeping their eyes focused on Your Word (Joshua 1:8 and John 15:4-5) and their mouth speaking Your Word. (Proverbs 21:23) Your child’s abundant life is in speaking Your Words. Your Words are life. (Proverbs 18:21) I pray for their heart to carry Your Words over and abundant from the Three Stranded Prayers they pray to You. (Luke 6:45)

Because You love them, rescue them out of the pit and “be there” for them! (Psalm 91:14-16) Take hold of their right hand and say, “Do not fear, I will help you, and I will not forsake you, ever.” (Isaiah 41:13, 14 and 17) Make rivers flow where there is barrenness in their day. Turn their deserts into pool of living water and any parched ground in their heart turn into beauty! (Isaiah 41:18) Direct their steps to the day of Your provision, Your faithful answers, Your healing, Your rest and their victory!  (Proverbs 16:9) May this prayer completely change their lives and may YOU receive all the praise! (Deuteronomy 32:3)

May it be so and may you believe so!

Prayer for Overcoming Rejection,

Father,

Thank You for Your loving heart. (Ephesians 3:18) Life on earth can be heart breaking during certain seasons. (Psalm 43:5) Thank goodness You promised seasons change. (Psalm 37:5 and Ecclesiastes 3:1) Your child WILL move from this hard season to a season of jubilee and celebration. Your child will see this! (Psalm 126:2-3) AMEN!

Relationships between fallen people can be hard; even harder is when those relationships are with our very own family members, chosen friends, or spouses. Human love is imperfect. (John 15:13) Still, You created us for togetherness and to feel we belong and are cared for. The pain of this kind of rejection feels exactly like a physical pain. It hurts Father!  If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend. (Psalm 55:12-13) Jesus knowsHe was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53:3) He understandsFor we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) Your wounded child needs a Faithful God Who knows and understands! (Revelation 19:11 and 1 Corinthians 1:9) Your scared, lonely, and stressed child needs a fearless God to love them through deep pain! (2 Timothy 1:7) You are what Your child needs this day. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Your Name El Emunah means You are a “Faithful God.” You do not abandon Your own. (Deuteronomy 4:31) No one or nothing can pluck Your child out of Your Powerful and Mighty Hand. Your child is completely safe with You. (John 10:27-29) Your name is Redeemer; I ask You to redeem any area Satan has manipulated from them in their relationships. (Isaiah 63:16) Your child is broken. Give Your child back their sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) When Satan steals anything from Your child (even if Your child was tricked) You make sure to execute vengeance on their behalf. Do this, so they may have rest in their bones and peace abundant in their hearts. (Deuteronomy 32:35 and Hebrews 10:30) May Your child rest in Your love while You fight and win all their battles. (Deuteronomy 1:30-31, 1 Samuel 17:45-47 and Nehemiah 4:20) This fight can be exhausting in their minds, bodies, souls, and spirits therefore; You will not only fight but revive and strengthen their broken hearts healthy and whole. (Romans 8:11) AMEN!

Gather Your child in Your arms and carry them to the next season. (Isaiah 40:11, Isaiah 46:4 and Deuteronomy 1:31) I don’t have to ask You to set Your affection on Your child. Your affection is already set on them. (Deuteronomy 10:15) You are trustworthy with their heart. (Psalm 9:10, Proverbs 28:25, Isaiah 12:2, Jeremiah 17:5-8, Hebrews 13:8) You will not fail them nor take Your love from them. (1 Chronicles 28:20, Psalm 89:33-34) Give them peace to relieve them of their anxiety and worry. (1 Corinthians 14:33, Galatians 5:22 and Philippians 4:7)  You do this because You love Your child. You love them the same way You love Jesus. (John 17:23) You love them devotedly. (Jeremiah 31:3) AMEN!

You prepare a table for Your children to come and dine on Your goodness, mercy, faithfulness, resurrection power, healing power, and love everlasting. (Psalm 23:5) May they join You at this table today and become full and whole! He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:34)

“The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ – eternal and glorious plans they are! – will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.”
1 Peter 5:10-11

You get the last WORD and Your Promises are always “Yes and Amen!”
(2 Corinthians 1:20)

Remember friend, “The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” (Exodus 14:14)

Prayer for a “Beautiful Day”

Father,

I am in awe of Your Name Yahweh Shaman. I love it means you are ”The LORD is there” as opposed to “The LORD who is not there.Satan celebrates the times Your children actually believe You aren’t there for them. He is so mean and cruel to Your children. Father, help us become wise to his devises. His tricks are old. (2 Corinthians 2:11) What happens between “praying” and the actual manifestation of the answer is A LOT of lies from Satan’s mouth to Your child’s ears. This crushes their spirit. (Psalm 34:18) You are concerned! So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. (Exodus 2:25) Father, Your child needs rest from this. (Matthew 11:28) Your child needs to know the battle belongs to YOU; “The LORD who is there for them.” (1 Samuel 17:47) Their burden is so heavy they dread opening their eyes in the morning. (Psalm 68:19) This makes them want to give up. They need a beautiful day with You! I am asking You to give my friend, a most beautiful, perfect, lovely day…with YOU! This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) Fill their day with wonderful things! For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. (Psalm 86:10) Tell them to take out a pen and paper to keep a list of all the wonder their eyes will see today. (Psalm 119:18)

I pray You have a beautiful day with YOUR God!

Day 10 of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer

Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. James 5:16

Prayer for Returning to your First Love,

Father,

Your name, El Kanna, tells us You are a Jealous God. Do not worship any other God, For the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. (Exodus 34:14) Your name is “Jealous” which means envious. Envious here means “covets another’s advantage.” Father, You are literally envious of anything your child has given their hearts over to. You were serious when You engraved in our hearts the first commandment; “Thou shall have no other God’s before me!” (Exodus 20:3) You require ALL of your child’s heart. A partial heart will not do for You. (Deuteronomy 30:10)

Father, You cannot dwell in a heart whose space is occupied.  Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5)  You do not join idols in the hearts of Your children. You are too mighty to dwell in an overcrowded place. I don’t think Your child knows this truth or they would evict their idols: Your child’s heart actually enlarges when Your love occupies the whole heart. I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart! (Psalm 119:32) What a powerful revelation! We risk so much when we cling to false idols! “Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.” (Jonah 2:8) Forgive us Father.

Father, teach my friends, “idols” are anything they are looking to to provide ANY needs YOU are to provide. And I said to them, Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the LORD your God. (Ezekiel 20:7) You are jealous of anything that takes your child’s heart, attention, and emotional well being away from Your providential care. You are “provoked to jealousy” (annoyed, angered) when an idol takes room in the heart You belong in. (Deuteronomy 32:21) Forgive us Father.

Sometimes Your child’s troubles become an idol. The problems they stare at become so big You are pushed out of their eye sight. Worry takes some of Your space. (Matthew 6:25-34) Then fear blocks Your perfect love.(1 John 4:18) No immediate change brings unbelief and complaining blocks Your hand. (Numbers 14:2 and Psalm 106:24) Your child may be saying, “When did I leave Him?” The answer:  When they ran to the internet, the refrigerator, the phone, the mall, work, ministry work, addictions, people, or false teachings. This is called leaving your first love. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. (Revelation 2:4) Forgive us Father.

What does someone do who is “envious” of their space being occupied? They wait for the object of their desire to return. Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. (Isaiah 30:18) You love them so deeply You are waiting patiently for them to return to YOU.  This moment. The wait it over!

Your child’s heart belongs to You. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Your child desperately wants to guard their heart from what has taken Your space so You can return. (Proverbs 4:23) Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the LORD Almighty. (Zechariah 1:3) Leaving You has had such a high cost. Our lukewarm hearts are asking You to return! We love YOU so much Jesus and want our Bridegroom back. (Ephesians 5:22-33) Your love is fierce, protective, passionate, everlasting, jealous, a shelter, overwhelming, Faithful and True. (Revelation 19:11)

What happens now that we have returned? This….

“God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he’ll have compassion on you; he’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.  No matter how far away you end up, God, your God, will get you out of there  and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed. It will be yours again. He will give you a good life and make you more numerous than your ancestors.  God, your God, will cut away the thick calluses on your heart and your children’s hearts, freeing you to love God, your God, with your whole heart and soul and live, really live.  God, your God, will put all these curses on your enemies who hated you and were out to get you. And you will make a new start, listening obediently to God, keeping all his commandments that I’m commanding you today.  God, your God, will outdo himself in making things go well for you: you’ll have babies, get calves, grow crops, and enjoy an all-around good life. Yes, God will start enjoying you again, making things go well for you just as he enjoyed doing it for your ancestors. But only if you listen obediently to God, your God, and keep the commandments and regulations written in this Book of Revelation. Nothing halfhearted here; you must return to God, your God, totally, heart and soul, holding nothing back.  Deuteronomy 30:3-10

AMEN! GOD WILL OUTDO HIMSELF MAKING THINGS WELL FOR YOU! AMEN!
