Prayer:

Father,

You are GREAT and most worthy to be praised. (Psalm 145:3) There is NONE like You. (Jeremiah 10:6) You are the God who sees. (Genesis 16:13) You see Your daughter is in desperate need of Your love and attention. (Psalm 121:1-8) Your heart yearns for her wholeness. (John 5:5-7) Your desire is for her heart to explode with Your love. Your love is safe for her. It will not wound. (Psalm 147:3) Your love heals and delivers. It will NOT leave. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Father, stoop down this minute and give Your daughter the attention she needs today. (Psalm 18:35) She feels alone. She feels weak. Therefore, fill her days with laughter, love, and beauty. (Proverbs 17:22) Strengthen her spirit to receive Your healing love. Even if she feels like running from you, chase her down. Prove to Your daughter You are faithful no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13)

Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. (1 John 4:19) Give her mercy when she feels the least to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Give her whispers of love into her heart when she feels sad. (Psalm 73:26) Let her taste and see that You are good. She is fortunate because YOU are Faithful and True! (Revelation 19:11) “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the woman who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 (AMP)

Father, wipe her tears today and love her like she deserves to be loved. (Revelation 21:4)

Sister, Let God Love YOU. And RETURN TO YOUR FIRST LOVE. (Revelation 2:4)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed.
Amen and Amen,
I love you,
Sheila

Father,

I love you! You are great and deserve our praise. There is none like You. You are our devoted God. (2 Samuel 7:22) You are the One and Only. Your Words are powerful and true. (Hebrews 4:12) Before we call You answer. While we are yet praying You will hear. (Isaiah 65:24) This prayer will not return void, it will surely accomplish what it is sent to do. (Isaiah 55:11) Manifest Yourself to Your daughter in this prayer. (Isaiah 11:2)

Father, my sister has a continuing and gnawing ache in her heart. (Psalm 73:26) Satan has strengthened his arsenal and tricked Your daughter into biting the crippling and paralyzing apple of fear. (2 Corinthians 2:11) Fiery darts and arrows have pierced her heart. (Ephesians 6:16) Fear has become a dripping poison in her broken and bruised heart; she feels every single painful drop and is afraid. (John 14:27) Fear, worry, problems, and unanswered prayers have taken over the space in her heart where Your presence belongs. The only antidote to overcome this poison is Your Divine Love. (1 John 4:18)

(There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts our fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
 1 John 4:18)

Your daughter’s heart is Your dwelling place. Where Your perfect love makes It’s home fear must bow and vacate. (Jeremiah 9:3) What a relief to know Your Truth will set her free from this suffocating fear and the lies whispered in her ear will silence. (John 8:32) The truth is; Your daughter is the Apple of Your Eye. (Psalm 17:8-9) Your daughter needs not live in fear because You are her God, her Rescuer. (Isaiah 41:10) Evict fear from her heart. Father, take Your rightful place. Create in her a clean heart for Your Holy Presence to dwell. (Psalm 51:10)

Remind Your daughter she is not alone. You are with her. (Deuteronomy 31:8) You have heard even her faintest prayers, seen her many tears, and even collected them in a bottle for remembrance, repayment, and restoration. Repay her by establishing her inner being in the truths of Your Word and not the fickleness of this world.  (2 Thessalonians. 3:16) Repay her with the power of Your presence. (Psalm 16:11) Show up for her. Move on her behalf. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Defend her as the Just Judge of her circumstances. (Isaiah 33:22) Protect her heart from the enemy’s tailor-made arrows and darts. (Psalm 68:28)

You are more than aware of the arrows that have hit her. (Hebrews 4:13) You care deeply and are devoted to her deliverance. (Psalm 18:6) This attack on her mind, body, soul, and spirit will in no way prosper against her heart, her destiny, the future plans You have brilliantly prepared for her, or the mighty miracles heading her way. (Psalm 94:9, 1 Peter 3:12, Isaiah 54:17, Jeremiah 29:11) Once removed and healed by Your Mighty Hand these arrow’s scars will transform her into a much wiser, stronger, and an even more beautiful woman of God. (Isaiah 61:3) You are enthralled with this kind of beauty. (Psalm 45:11)  This inner beauty is unfading and of great worth to You. (1 Peter 3:3-4)

Now sister sit still as He removes the arrows, wipes away every tear, and quiets you with His Love. (Revelation 21:4, Zephaniah 3:17)

Father, I pray every word of this prayer comes alive in my sister’s heart.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed.
I love you!
Amen and Amen,
Sheila

Happy New Year, Love Sheila!

Happy New Year!

2015 is going to be the BEST YEAR of your life! We are going to PRAY, PRAY, and PRAY!

Take a look at Psalm 126. I highlighted some of the most wonderful of God’s words. We are going to pray your 2015 be so full of God that you think you are living a dream!

Psalm 126 (Message)

It seemed like a dream, too good to be true,
when God returned Zion’s exiles.
We laughed, we sang,
we couldn’t believe our good fortune.
We were the talk of the nations—
“God was wonderful to them!”
God was wonderful to us;
we are one happy people.
And now, God, do it again—
bring rains to our drought-stricken lives
So those who planted their crops in despair
will shout hurrahs at the harvest,
So those who went off with heavy hearts
will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.

Love,
Sheila

Day 11 of the 12 Days of Prayer

Father,

Thank You for the gift of “IT IS FINISHED.” The very last words of our Savior on the cross were, “It is finished” meaning PAID IN FULL.  Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30) The debt owed to You was completely PAID IN FULL. What a GIFT! The debt of our sin has been wiped away completely. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. (Isaiah 44:22) ALL my sister needs to do is REPENT and walk in Your Ways. (Righteousness) Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:19) There is NOTHING more that Your daughter needs to do to “earn” her way back to You. She needs to know to “rest” from the striving. Father, I so love the second part to the verse above “…that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” The Greek word used here for “refreshing” means “the recovery of breath.” You will REVIVE her back to life!

I pray, as Your daughter quits striving to earn Your love, that You breathe life back into her heart, mind, soul, and body. Revive her back to life just as in Ezekiel when it was prophesied for DRY BONES TO HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD AND COME BACK TO LIFE! I pray the same for Your daughter. May this verse be the gift You give her this day! Knit these verses into her heart!  The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.  I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'” (Ezekiel 37:1-6)

Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! God is bring His daughter back to LIFE! AMEN!

Take a breath my sister and REST in the finished work of Christ!

IT IS FINISHED! (John 19:30)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love YOU,
Sheila

Day 10 of the 12 Days of Prayer

Father,

Thank You for the gift of YOUR UNSEEN HAND. We are incredibly blessed You move mightily on behalf of Your children. You set things in motion, You set things right, and You set things in order with YOUR UNSEEN HAND. You work day and night to make sure Your daughter is secure, loved, and protected. May my sister’s eyes meditate on the promise You will not let her slip or fall. YOUR UNSEEN HAND will provide and protect: I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip, he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you, the Lord is your shade at your right hand. (Psalm 121:1-5) When she cries out You move to save and deliver! Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me! (Psalm 31:2)

YOUR UNSEEN HAND is always upon Your daughter as are Your eyes. For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (2 Chronicles 16:9) IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, may YOUR UNSEEN HAND move today to strengthen my sister’s broken, bruised, and tired heart! Thank you that You reach down from the Heavens and attend to Your children out of devotion and love. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. (2 Samuel 22:17-20) YOUR UNSEEN HAND is open not closed. You reach out with Your power and have ALL capabilities to do the impossible for Your daughter. I pray YOUR HAND gives her direction, guidance, and deliverance this holiday season and ALWAYS.

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. (Exodus 14:14)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love YOU,
Sheila

Day 9 of the 12 Days of Prayer

Father,

Thank You for the gift of YOUR PRESENCE. The promise that You will “never leave nor forsake” us has been most comforting to me. There have been times when I didn’t know how I was going to open my eyes to another day when I remembered I have YOU. I ask, in the NAME OF JESUS, You make Your Holy Presence tangibly known to my sweet friend today! She needs You near. I pray Psalm 16:11 for my sister today:

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”  (Exodus 33: 14)

Savor Your day with God!

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love YOU,
Sheila

Day 8 of the 12 Days of Prayer

Join our prayer family to the right of this blog!

Father,

I pray in THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, You gift my friend with GREAT FAITH. There have been times when her faith has been shaken. There have been days Your child has struggled to believe. This is crippling to Your daughter’s relationship with You. How can we overcome this? The way that seems best is to not focus overwhelmingly on our FAITH but to remember YOUR FAITHFULNESS! Believing that “if we had more FAITH our prayers would be answered” sure puts a strain in the weary heart! I pray we learn to believe in YOUR FAITHFULNESS above all. This will be how we grow in GREAT FAITH. Amen!

You are “abounding in love and faithfulness.” You have all the FAITHFULNESS Your daughter needs. (Exodus 34:6) Your FAITHFULNESS has no limits! The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. (Psalm 145:13) Our first step to GREAT FAITH is to believe YOU! What I want my friend to most believe today is in Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. I pray my sweet friend believes in the answer to her prayer even though it is not seen yet. WHY? Because without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please You. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Father, take my sister’s tiny mustard seed of faith and develop her in to a MIGHTY WOMAN OF FAITH. “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20) May she overcome her unbelief with GREAT FAITH in YOU! (Mark 9:24) Why? All things are POSSIBLE for one who believes. (Mark 9:23)

I pray my sister see the IMPOSSIBLE in her life become POSSIBLE this holiday season!

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love YOU,
Sheila

Day 7 of the 12 Days of Prayer

Father,

You are magnificent! Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. (Psalm 148:13) Your thoughts toward Your daughter are too many to count. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.  (Psalm 139: 17-18) You are thinking of her this very minute.

Father, Your daughter has a dream buried in the bottom of her heart. You gave this dream to her many years ago. Sadly, she has given up on it. Satan has been tenacious in His battle against this. In the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, I ask You to give Your daughter the SPIRITUAL STRENGTH to pick this dream back up and run her race. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (Hebrews 12:1) This dream belongs to You and Your daughter. May no weapon coming against it prosper. May Your gift to her of SPIRITUAL STRENGTH bring the Power of Christ Jesus into her struggle. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

May she pursue YOU and this dream with all her heart! (Jeremiah 29:13) AMEN!

Sister, today is your day to “Write it down and make it plain.” Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. (Habakkuk 2:2) Write the dream God gave you down on a piece of paper. Fold the paper up. Place it in a decorative holiday gift bag. Put it under a Christmas Tree and give back to God for Christmas the gift of “PURSING YOUR DREAM” with all your heart.

May all Your dreams come true IN CHRIST JESUS.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love YOU,
Sheila
