Power of the Three Stranded Prayer

Father,

I love you! All praise and glory to You the Most High God. You are Great and greatly to be praised. (Psalm 96:4) Power and Might belong to You and You alone. You are the Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 30:15) You are the Sovereign Creator, who sees and knows all things. You are the Father of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and my friend. (Matthew 22:32, John 8:39) We are in awe of You Father God. (Habakkuk 3:2)

Father, nothing catches You by surprise. You are Omniscient and All Knowing. (Psalm 147:4-5) You know my friend is weary and tired. You are not unaware they need to place their emotional wholeness in Your Capable Healing Hands. (John 10:29) This prayer is a plea for You to powerfully intervene and rescue; as You faithfully love to do in Your children’s lives. (Isaiah 43) Remind my friend You do not just make situations better, you make them whole, completely new, and miraculously changed. (Revelation 21:5)

Your child is buried under stress coming from the enemy’s lies and manipulation. This infuriates You! (Romans 8:33-39) Satan’s plan of attack is coming in the form of provoking untrue feelings and unhealthy thoughts in your child’s heart and mind. (Ephesians 6:12) The real truth, from Your Holy Word, is your child is free, healthy, strong, blessed, protected, perfected, and provided for. (2 Corinthians 10:5) You have not given my friend a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Wow, thank You for theses powerful truths!

Therefore, teach my friend to renew their mind with your Word and to believe they are empowered with it to overcome. (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5) May the very Mind of Christ instruct my friend. (1Corinthians 2:16) You intend Your Word to be planted in their heart with great focus and intensity. (Joshua 1:8) If Your Word is planted and flourishing in their heart the dry and desolate places, which house satan’s lies, will instead produce the freedom, health, strength, blessing, protection, perfection and provision promised. (John 8:32) I pray my friend is diligent to meditate day and night on Your Words not Satan’s lies and whispers. Oh, Jesus intercede in this! (James 4:7 and Hebrews 7:25) Amen.

God, when You arise Your child’s enemies are scattered. (Psalm 68:1-3) The enemy rejoiced when he whispered lies into Your child’s ears and they believed him. Arise in anger to defend Your child! (Psalm 12:5) The enemy will not have his way; YOU will Father. (Isaiah 54:17) Show what is unseen to my friend. (Hebrews 11:1) The unseen sure work of Your Hand. The work of protection, provision, justice, and the life changing intervention we have prayed for.  May this be the year of deliverance, answered prayers, restoration, healing, wholeness, and beauty for my friend. (Psalm 65:11) Whisper into your child’s heart, “Do not be afraid, just believe that I am Your God working all things out for your good. I love you.” (Mark 5:36 and Romans 8:28)

I pray my friend stays rooted and grounded in Your faithful love eternally. (Ephesians 3:17) May my friend know Your love stretches further than they can run away, wider than they can wander off, deeper than any pit they have found themselves in, and higher than any impossible mountain in front of them. (Ephesians 3:18) Your love will save them. (Romans 5:8)

You are for my friend to reach their dreams and heart desires; what can prosper that is against them? Nothing. (Romans 8:31)

May it be so!

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed,
Amen and Amen.

My Goodness

A Devotion and Prayer for YOU.

My Goodness

“Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Psalm 23:6 (NIV)

It was well into the second quarter of the high school basketball game when the senior captain of the home team showed up late.

Just that morning his mother unexpectedly passed away from a sudden hemorrhage. She’d been in remission after a five-year fight with cervical cancer when she took the fatal turn.

Some of the team had been at the hospital with their grieving friend. Although they had an important game that night, the guys wanted to cancel it. Brokenhearted, the senior captain encouraged the team to play.

You can imagine everyone’s surprise when this young man came out to root for his team.

His coach asked him if he wanted to sit on the bench with his teammates.

“No,” he replied. “I want to play.”

Game rules prevented anyone not on the pre-game roster to play unless the opposing team was granted a technical foul that would give them two free throws. It was a tight game, but his coach willingly traded the points to comfort his player.

But that is not where the compassion stopped.

The other coach wasn’t interested in the free throws. He wanted to let the brokenhearted player just play. With no penalties. This coach and the referees argued over the rules until the referees won with, “Rules will not be broken.”

So, after a brief conversation with his coach, the visiting team’s senior captain took his place on the free throw line.

Giving his coach an understanding nod, he dribbled the ball and threw it two feet. The crowd stared in wonder as the ball rolled off the court. The second free throw landed at his feet. He had purposefully missed guaranteed points.

This gesture of sportsmanship ignited a standing ovation. Applause roared throughout the gym. The crowd witnessed a rare act of kindness birthed out of the goodness of the visiting coach and captain’s hearts.

We don’t often hear about people taking hold of opportunities to demonstrate such graciousness. But every day we can see God’s goodness if we simply take the time. Psalm 23:6 tells us that “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Before the brokenhearted player even arrived at the game, God’s goodness followed him, ready to show up when he needed it most. Goodness tapped two coaches on the shoulders. Goodness whispered in the hearts of a group of teenagers.

God’s goodness is here for us as well. We find it in His daily care and love, especially in times of hardship. But we have to “get in the game” to see it. If we’re checked out of life, not spending time in prayer, or not actively seeking to recognize God’s goodness, we’ll miss it. True, His goodness might not always seem as evident as a team opting out of free points in a basketball game, but God’s goodness is all around us.

Could His kindness and love be the encouraging word or hug from a friend? Perhaps it’s peace that comes unexpectedly from God’s Word, a sermon, or prayer. Maybe it’s the conversation with the grocery store clerk that brought a smile to your face.

This young man who lost his mother probably had no idea how he was going to ease the pain that surrounded him. You may be wondering that very thing as well. This is why God promises, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). God wants to be closer to you than the pain. One way He does this is by following you with His goodness and showing up through the hands and hearts of others.

I cannot tell you who won the last Super Bowl. I don’t know who the Major League’s MVP is. There’s no way I can spout off the NBA lineup. What I can tell you about is the day God’s goodness followed a crushed young man into a gymnasium during a high school basketball game and made His goodness known. I can tell you he played the rest of the game, scoring ten points that led to his team’s victory.

But most importantly, I can tell you that God’s goodness is following you. Will you get in the game and look for it? God’s goodness is following you and wants to be closer to you than the pain. Lastly, will you be God’s hand of goodness to someone today

Sheila’s Prayer for You

Father,

I love you! You alone are God. (Deuteronomy 4:39)  Besides You there is no God and in that we rejoice. (Isaiah 44:6-7)  Thank you Father that Your goodness is following my friend. (Psalm 23:6) You daily look for ways to love on your children. (Psalm 143:8) You hourly direct their steps towards what is good and best for them. (Psalm 32:8) Every minute of the day is designed to envelop them in Your everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3) You think of my friend every second of the day! Your thoughts are too vast to count. (Psalm 139:17-18)  May they not miss a second of Your attention. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Thank you for promising to be closer than the pain crushing their heart. (Psalm 34:18) You are compassionate and You are completely Faithful to love them devotedly. (Lamentations 3:22-23) I ask You to continue placing miracles in their paths. (John 2:11) Open eyes to the marvelous ways Your goodness has shown up in their lives already. (Job 37:5) You are not a man that you would lie. (Numbers 23:19) Therefore, when You say Your goodness follows them it is completely true. May Your child be ever mindful of Your very near Presence today. (Exodus 33:15) May they prepare to be amazed. (1 Samuel 12:16)

Oh and Father, may You be blessed when they turn around, like the one leper, to thank you for turning their mourning into dancing. (Luke 17:15-19 and Psalm 30:11-12)

May it be so!

Let God Love You!

The Power of the Three Stranded Prayer©
Sheila Mangum

Father,

You are GREAT and most worthy to be praised. (Psalm 145:3) There is NONE like You. (Jeremiah 10:6) You are the God who sees. (Genesis 16:13) You see Your daughter is in desperate need of Your love and attention. (Psalm 121:1-8) Your heart yearns for her wholeness. (John 5:5-7)  Your desire is for her heart to explode with Your love. Your love is safe for her. It will not wound. (Psalm 147:3) Your love heals and delivers. It will NOT leave. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Father, stoop down this minute and give Your daughter the attention she needs today. (Psalm 18:35)  She feels alone. She feels weak. Therefore, fill her days with laughter, love, and beauty. (Proverbs 17:22) Strengthen her spirit to receive Your healing love. Even if she feels like running from you, chase her down. Prove to Your daughter You are faithful no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13)

Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. (1 John 4:19) Give her mercy when she feels the least to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Give her whispers of love into her heart when she feels sad. (Psalm 73:26) Let her taste and see that You are good.  She is fortunate because YOU are Faithful and True! (Revelation 19:11) “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the woman who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 (AMP)

Father, wipe her tears today and love her like she deserves to be loved. (Revelation 21:4)

Sister, Let God Love YOU. And RETURN TO YOUR FIRST LOVE. (Revelation 2:4)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed.
Amen and Amen,
I love you,
Sheila

Heal Her Broken Heart

Sheila’s Prayer for YOU.
“Father, Heal her Broken Heart.”
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
(Psalms 34:18)

Father,

I love you! I am overjoyed to be in Your Presence and comforted to call You Faithful Father. (Exodus 34:6-7) The comfort, peace, and security You give Your children are priceless gifts. (2 Thessalonians 3:16) You are loving and oh so good. Belonging to You is Your daughter’s greatest asset. (1 Peter 2:9) She is the Apple of Your Eye. (Psalm 17:8) You have her heart safe and secure in Your holy, faithful, merciful hand. What a relief to know You will be wonderful to Your daughter forever and ever. (Psalm 89:1) Never will a day go by that Your daughter will be out of Your reach. You said in Your Word; if she draws near You will be there. (James 4:8) No questions asked. Nothing can separate or keep You from Your beloved daughter. (Romans 8:38-39) Nothing!

Father, today I bring to You Your daughter’s broken heart. Scripture sweetly says, “A broken heart You will not despise.” (Psalm 51:17) You do not and will not, in any way, condemn your daughter for being brokenhearted or broken. You understand. You care. You sympathize with her. (Hebrews 4:14-15) You were there the moment her heart broke and You are with her this minute. You are drawn to broken hearts and attend to them lovingly and attentively. (Psalm 147:3)

Your heart’s desire is she not stay broken. You want her whole, complete, and lacking nothing. (James 1:4) Lift her head up high in celebration of what You are going to do for her. (Isaiah 41:10 and Psalm 3:3) As You lift her head, remind her of this: Whom shall she fear? No one. (Psalm 27:1) If You are for her who can be against her? (Romans 8:31) You are her sword and shield. (Ephesians 6:10-18) You go before her and You go behind her, guarding her heart with Your compassionate care. Your daughter’s heart is the most important thing to You this minute and ALWAYS. (Psalm 13:5-6)

Father, only You know the truest condition of Your daughter’s heart. (Luke 16:15 and Psalm 139) She has arrows, band-aids, infections, and weeds dwelling in the hidden places of her heart. Her pain is very real as it has been a really rough road for her. Tears have been in abundance and comfort has been slow. But this I know to be true; Your very presence can bring her the comfort she has been crying out for. (Psalm 119:50) Your capable, loving hands are the perfect place for her heart to be mended. I pray Your love blossom in the painful spots of her heart and bring healing. (Psalm 23) You have all the comfort she needs to press on. You are near your daughter and will rescue her from the hardship burying her heart in grief, shame, fear, and humiliation. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18) Your ears have heard her cry, anguish, and grief. (1 Samuel 1:16) She is understood, accepted, and valuable to You. Her broken heart is Your priority.

Your daughter’s tears are pouring. Wipe them with your compassionate hand. (Revelation 21:4) Though her heart may be completely shattered, You can strengthen her. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26) You are with her and have never left her side. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Place Your peace securely in her heart. Comfort her anxious heart with the promise You can offer her peace everlasting. A peace that surpasses human understanding. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27 and Philippians 4:7)

Father, find the deepest most secret painful part of Your daughter’s heart and meet her there. Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22) Let her whisper in your ear the story of her broken heart. Listen with great concern. For You are the Healer of the Broken Heart. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

Sister, stop now and spend this moment in His presence. Take a seat. Take a breathe. Let your tears flow and tell God what broke your heart. He wants to hear. Even though He knows every word you will speak; He is here for you. He wants you to know He can give wisdom, defend, heal, restore and give you back your life abundant. He wants this moment to be Yours and His. Mark the date and the time. This is Your moment with Your God.

Father, replace the ache in my friend’s heart with an ache to know Your Son in all His Majesty and Splendor more and more. May my friend be closer to Your Son than anyone ever has. May it be so! May it be so!

God of Miracles. God of the Impossible. Let the brokenhearted rejoice! You are here and Your wonders to perform! (Psalm 40:5)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed.
Amen and Amen.

Be loved, In Jesus name.
I love you,
Sheila

Where Does Her Help Come From?

Sheila’s Prayer for you

Father,

There is NONE like You. (Jeremiah 10:6) The heavens declare your glory and the skies proclaim the work of Your hands. (Psalm 19:2)  The rocks will cry out proclaiming Your goodness if we fail to do so. (Luke 19:40)  That is how good You are.  So very good.  You are also Almighty, Powerful, and Sovereign.  To your daughter this means You have the means and authority to intervene in her life making changes for her highest good and ultimate best. (Romans 8:28)  You have the compassion to completely take charge of any and every circumstance threatening Your daughter’s peace. You are truly a caring Father with provision in abundance to rescue her. (Psalm 50:10)  All she needs to do is approach Your throne of GRACE with confidence trusting not in man, not in this world, or even herself but in Your MERCY alone. (Hebrews 4:16)

You are so Wonderful, there are so many of Your attributes your daughter can confidently cling to. Thank you. Truly. Thank You Father!  Today Your daughter comes trusting in You being her Jehovah Jireh. (Genesis 22:14) You are her ultimate Provider. Remind her every good gift comes from Your hand. (James 1:17)  Then, provide an ABUNDANCE of love, finances, peace, wisdom, and understanding for her. (Philippians 4:19)  Provision is You providing an ample supply of what she needs. Therefore, pour open the storehouses in heaven and shower her with what ever she needs to feel safe, loved, secure, and cared for. (Malachi 3:10)  You take care of the birds in the air how much more will You care for Your own adored daughter. (Matthew 6:26)

Your child is crying out for help. Where does her help come from?  It comes from You! (Psalm 121:1-2) You will meet all her needs through the riches of Christ Jesus, her Savior.  (Philippians 4:19)  Teach your daughter to “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God” and all else shall be added unto her. (Matthew 6:33) May your blessings accompany her as she is obediently serving you. (Deuteronomy 28:2)  You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.  (Hebrews 13:8)  You are no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34) You grant mercy and compassion to whom ever You please. (Exodus 33:19) And it pleases You to give this kindness to Your children. (1 Thessalonians 4) You can cancel debts at any time for no reason.  (Deuteronomy 15:1-3) Why would you cancel debts?  Because Your Son paid these debts in full on the cross. (Colossians 2:6-15)  Teach her the power in giving tithes, forgiving debts, and loving anyway.  (Malachi 3:10 and Matthew 6:1) This will free her tremendously.

Father, You know Your daughter’s hopelessness and discouragement in the area of her finances. Do not let her be tempted beyond what she can bear. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Provide a way of escape so she will be able to bear this. A way of escape can be wisdom, a miracle, a plan, or a change. Do not allow her to be crushed underneath this burden. (2 Corinthians 1:8) Speak peace into Your daughter’s heart. (Psalm 29:11) Give her a peace that the world does not have to give. (John 16:33)  A peace that surpasses all human understanding. (Philippians 4:7) Tell Her to be anxious for nothing for You are working on her behalf. (Philippians 4:6 and Isaiah 64:1-4) Do not allow the enemy to oppress her because of the severity of her circumstances. (Luke 4:18-19) Overrule in the courts of heaven to grant Your daughter relief.  Decree her debts are wiped clean and her Provider has paid her bill personally. AMEN AND AMEN AGAIN!

Thank you Father for answering this prayer simply because You love her~

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed,

I love YOU,

Sheila

Do you feel your life unraveling? Do you feel alone? Scared? Defeated? Overwhelmed? Do you feel as though you are stuck and wasting years? Did you know you are only one step away from God’s promised life of passion, purpose, and power? Overcome a life of chaos with confidence, peace, and God’s best for you in one step.

One Step. One Prayer away.

Discover what happens when you empower your life with God’s Word through Sheila’s blog One Girl and Her God. Sheila will pray with God (His Word) for you, with you. The Three Stranded Prayer. Discovering What Happens When You Empower Your Life with God’s Word. What is the Three Stranded Prayer?

Sheila uses the following scripture:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.
If one falls down, his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Sheila will pray God’s Word for you. “Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?” (Amos 3:3) You agree with she and God with an Amen in the comment section. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. (Matthew 18:19) The Power of Praying the Three Stranded Prayer together ((1) God’s Word, (2) Sheila praying God’s Word for you and (3) your agreeing (Amen) and believing are the three strands) will accomplish what God has promised it would do … so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)

Most important…You need to believe your prayers are answered by Your loving, faithful God. “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and thrown into the sea”, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:23-24) The most important part of this prayer is YOU!  You must be like Abraham, he was … fully convinced that God was able to do what He has promised. (Romans 17:21)

God wants to answer your prayers exceedingly and abundantly. He is more determined to give you the desires of your heart than you are to ask. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. (Matthew 18:20) His ear is attentive to prayer and answers with goodness and favor. (Nehemiah 1:11) Let’s pray and move some mountains!

God, listen to her heart!

Sheila’s Prayer for You

Father,

I love you! I adore you! You are so very worthy to be praised and thanked. (Psalm 145:3) There is NO ONE like YOU. (Jeremiah 10:6) Your goodness has no match. (Psalm 34) Your mercies have no end. (Lamentations 3:22-23) Your love allows no fear in hearts. (1 John 4:18) Daddy, I bring Your beloved to Your heavenly throne. I thank You for Your deep compassion, love, and kindness toward her. (Romans 5:8, Psalm 78:38-39, and Exodus 34:6-7) Your love for her is SET and SEALED eternally. (2 Corinthians 1:22) Amen.

Reveal to her just how much You love her. (Zephaniah 3:17) Being human, she is but flesh and unique in how she receives love each season of her life. You know JUST what Your daughter needs today.(Deuteronomy 7:9) Show her You can meet her right where she is and do what only YOU, her God, can do. Only You know how to love her that perfectly. (1 John 4:16)

May she know Your love is a balm that will heal her wounds. (Jeremiah 8:22) Your love is the cure to the ache in her heart. Your love is gracious, kind, and abundantly generous at all times. (1Corinthians 13:4-7) Your love will be sensitive to her frail heart but also mighty enough to deliver her from her enemies and grant her justice. (2 Kings 17:39 and Luke 18:7)

Your love never changes. (Malachi 3:6) You loved her this morning the same as the day she was born. (Ephesians 1:4-5) Your love has sustained your daughter her entire life. (Psalm 18:32-36) She has no idea the many times Your love has covered her, protected her, and favored her. (1 John 5:18 and Psalm 5:12) Your love is long suffering and always forgiving when asked. (Psalm 103:2-4) THANK YOU! What a relief to know Your love NEVER leaves. Your love stays. (Hebrews 13:5) Your love is active and working on your daughter’s behalf day and night. (Psalm 121:4)

Speak words of HOPE and encouragement into this precious one’s heart. (Proverbs 24:14) Dispel any voices that have tried to make her feel small, unloved, or not listened to. You are for her. You want her to win this battle. (Romans 8:31-35) She is more than a conqueror because of Your love. (Romans 8:37)

Today, Father I am petitioning You to give Your attention to Your daughter exclusively this moment. Your daughter is going to close her eyes and You are going to listen to her heart. She is not going to say a word. You are just going to listen to her inner cries, secret desires, and greatest needs. Listen intently and let her heart tell You all the things it is holding. She has secrets; listen to them. She has pain; relieve it. She has dreams; grant them. She has shame; take it. She has tears; wipe them. She has done well; cheer her on! (Psalm 44:21 and Matthew 25:23)

Only You completely understand her. Only You know the real her. (Psalm 139) Only You can answer this prayer with great attention, power, and authority. (Matthew 28:18-20) When You speak the earth and heavens shake. (Job 38) Speak a Word for your daughter that will change her world, her life. Let her SEE You are working all things our for her good! Your purposes will stand. (Isaiah 46:10-11) Your Word will be fulfilled. (Isiah 55:11)

Go before her with good things. (James 1:17) Go behind her with protection. (Psalm 18:2) Walk beside her with blessings. (Psalm 24:5) Give to Your daughter Godly relationships, answered prayers, open doors, closed doors, and complete healing. Give her Your attention! (Psalm 18:7) Let Your daughter know the best is yet to come for her. (1 Corinthians 2:9) She has a great future You have been wisely and lovingly preparing behind the scenes for her. Direct her steps moment by moment to this unbelievable destiny. (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, and Ephesians 2:10) The destiny YOU have hand picked for her. The destiny she will not believe until she sees it with her very own eyes. (It is THAT good!) (Psalm 27:13) Amen.

May she smile when she sees Your love in action. Give her a day of beautiful things and a night of sweet sleep. (Proverbs 3:24)

Now close your eyes sister and let God listen to your heart.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

I love YOU,

Restore all things for Your daughter!

Sheila’s Prayer for you

Father,

I love you! I approach Your throne of grace with confidence in Your everlasting unconditional love for my friend. (Hebrews 4:16) Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask you to be the “Restorer of the Breach” for your daughter. (Isaiah 58:12) Restore back to her a strained relationship she holds very dear in her heart. (Joel 2:25)  Bring wisdom, forgiveness, and understanding into each heart involved today. (James 1:5, 1 John 1:9, and Psalm 119:130) Pour Your love into all wounded hearts supernaturally. (Romans 5:5)

Show Your daughter You restore all things brand new and when YOU author a restoration things will soon be better than they have ever been. (2 Corinthians 5:17)  Remind her You are the One who can change the heart of kings. (Proverbs 21:1) How? Your love. Your love is louder than any pain, regret, or seemingly impossible situation. (Jeremiah 32:17) Father, may the two seeking reconciliation be overwhelmed with this love that can erase a wrong, give a second chance, and change a stony heart. (Ezekiel 36:26) May the healing power of forgiveness and true agape love overcome your daughter’s weary and torn heart. (Luke 7:47)

Daddy, work it out so your daughter completely forgets the pain she has become acquainted with during this difficult time. (Genesis 41:51) You will faithfully wipe away every tear from her eyes personally. (Revelation 21:4)  You will remember Your daughter’s cry for restoration by “working all things out for her good.” (Romans 8:28). Reward her for seeking and trusting You by answering this prayer exceedingly and abundantly more than she can DREAM. (Hebrews 11:6 and Ephesians 3:20)

Father, create a healthy and God-honoring relationships for your daughter and her loved ones.  In Your wisdom, reveal blind spots and hidden scars to be healed. Bring into the light words that have wounded, actions that have broken hearts, and hidden thoughts that have poisoned minds to not forgive or forget. (Ephesians 4:32)  Show your daughter where she needs to re-train her thoughts and re-new her mind to Your will of total forgiveness. (Romans 12:2) Teach her to forgive completely, the way You do. (Matthew 5:48) There can be no future for her without forgiveness. (Luke 6:37) Show her true love forgives and frees.

Father, You have taught us to bless and pray for those who have hurt us, abused, or left us.  You restored back DOUBLE to Job when he prayed for the friends. After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10. Do the same for my friend. Restore back to her dignity, respect, and honor as she yields her heart to obey You and forgive. Where she does not want to forgive overrule her flesh. (Mark 14:38) When she struggles with this weakness be her strength. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Where she needs forgiveness grant that request. In Jesus’ Name.

Do not let Satan outwit Your daughter with his schemes. Teach her forgiveness is Your heart. This is why You are named the “Restorer of the Breach.” If there is anything to forgive I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Help her to forgive so she can be forgiven.(Matthew 6:15)  Show her to believe in love over all things especially wrongs against her. (1 Corinthians 13)

“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person.”
Corinthians 13:7 (AMP)

Last, whisper in her ear to forgive herself. For she is worthy of your love, worthy of Your Son’s death, and worthy of the blood that cleanses her whole and healthy.  She is worthy!  She has humbled herself to forgive and to ask for forgiveness, therefore; You will exalt her head high! Yes, you will. (1 Peter 5:6 and Psalm 3:3) AMEN.

You are worthy my sister. You are a daughter of the Most High God-period! When you fell down, you fell down His daughter. When you get up, you will get up His daughter. You are His child. There is never a time when God is against you, ever! You are His and His attention is upon you. His eye watches you. His hands are here to help you up. His heart is forever faithful to you. It is true. (Revelation 19:11) Amen and Amen.

Father, You are the great I AM. What does that mean for your daughter? You are whatever she needs as she seeks reconciliation. She can fill in the blanks. Say to Your  child, “I AM the Restorer of the Breach, I AM your Healer. I AM your Comforter. I AM your Provider. I AM your Way Maker. I Am the One who makes all things new. I AM the One who loves unconditionally. I AM the One who holds your dreams in My Hands. I AM your help. I AM your strength. I AM anything you need me to be at any time.”

I AM _________________________. Fill in the blank my friend. He is your answer and all you need.

He is YOUR God. He is the Great I AM. (Exodus 3:14)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed.

I love you!

“You are there for her!”

Sheila’s Prayer for You Today

Father,

I love you! I thank You for Your attentive ear to this plea. Hear this prayer and listen to the words of my mouth on behalf of Your beloved daughter. (Psalm 54:2) Surely You are her help. You are the ONE who can and will sustain (support, carry, and give relief to) her. (Psalm 54:4) You are busy behind the scenes delivering her from ALL her troubles; so her tired eyes can see the triumph YOU will give over her enemies (sickness, disease, lack, fear, worry, trouble, betrayals, rejections, reproach, lies, lost dreams) (Psalm 54:7) The foes coming against my friend have broken her heart and is hoping to crush her spirit. Don’t let them have their way! YOU have YOUR way! (Psalm 34:18 and Psalm 18:30) Intervene and thwart the plans of the enemy and may Your good plans for Your daughter prevail. (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, and Job 42:1-2)

Father, my friend has a happy face but a very sad heart. Give her the confidence she needs to seek You for wisdom and guidance out of all heart breaking situations. (Proverbs 3:26, Proverbs 1:7, and James 1:5-6) She is carrying a burden You never meant for her to carry. (Psalm 55:22 and 1 Peter 5:7) Pick her burden up Father. (Matthew 11:28-29) Carry it for her. Give her “relief” and rest from the strain of living “day to day” with worry, fear, and dread. (Lamentations 3:55-56) Anxiousness, mental distress, fear, and worry have accompanied her too long. Take them out of her heart to the very root! (Philippians 4:6, Romans 8:15 and 1 John 4:18) Your love will heal her. Show her love without limits. (Hosea 14:4b)

Your child is crying out and You will answer. (Psalm 17:6 and Jonah 2:2) I don’t know what my friend needs, she may not even know… but You do! All I know is You WILL answer the deepest cries of her heart perfectly. (Psalm 3:4) You will answer with healing. (Isaiah 53:5) You will answer with forgiveness. (Isaiah 43:25) You will answer with peace, love, and mercy. (John 16:33, 1 John 4:18-19, and Ephesians 2:4) You will answer with grace and gentleness. (James 4:6 and Galatians 5:22-23) You will answer with Your wisdom. (Proverbs 2:6) You will answer with acceptance. (Romans 15:7) You will answer with kindness; for Your heart overflows with kindness towards her. (Ephesians 2:7) Your kindness leads to repentance not condemnation. Remind Your daughter to trust in Your character and not the words or actions that have wounded her heart from “man”. (Romans 2:4 and John 3:17) You are her comforter. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

Give Your daughter just what she needs to sing again.  (Psalm 101:1)  You have her tears in a bottle. (Psalm 56:8) What a beautiful picture of “You are there for her!” You have collected her tears, counted them, and plan to give her just what she needs to forget why she was even crying. (Genesis 41:51) Amen!

Withhold no good thing from Your daughter. You are so good to her. (Psalm 84:11) Give her a second chance to re-do a certain time in her life she regrets. (Isaiah 43:18)  Give her a second chance to finish something she should have done for Your kingdom’s sake and missed the mark. (Jonah 3:1) Restore her dignity. (Proverbs 31:25) Vindicate her from her accusers. (Psalm 24:5) Make right a wrong made against her. (Isaiah 30:18) Re-pay her for the stolen moments and wasted time Satan tricked her out of. (Joel 2:25)

Perfect that which concerns her in all areas of her life, physically, mentally, spiritually, and relationally. (Psalm 138:8 KJV) Write a brilliant “God-ending” to this chapter in Your daughter’s life. (Jeremiah 29:11) Show off in a big way right before her’s and the enemy’s very eyes! (Psalm 23:5) Amen and Amen.

Father when my friend wants to “fall apart” remind her she is “set apart” for a great purpose. (1 Peter 2:9) She may not feel like she is, but she is! She may feel as though you have forgotten her, but You haven’t. Not for a minute. (Psalm 115:12) You not only remember her, you think of her every second of the day. May her sweet heart swells with joy knowing this is Truth! (Isaiah 60:5) Praise Jesus!

Last, may Your Presence hover over my friend so she will not be shaken by any fiery dart the enemy points her way. (Ephesians 6:16, Psalm 16:8 and Genesis 1:2 ) Give her the grace to stand and to keep standing on Your Word. (Ephesians 6:13)  If You are for my friend who can be against her? (Romans 8:31) The answer is “no one”. No one can come against a child of Yours that is standing, believing, and praying Your Word. NO ONE! (Romans 10:17)

Others will see Your daughter very soon and say, “Who is this beautiful one walking in such confidence, peace, and strength leaning on her God?” (Psalm 29:11 and Song of Songs 8:5) The answer: My friend. Your daughter. The apple of Your eye! (Psalm 17:8) May it be so!

…My Father’s God, and I will exalt him. (Exodus 15:2 KJV)

In the mighty name of Jesus we have prayed,

I love you,
Sheila

Go celebrate His love for you!

Sheila’s Prayer for you today

Father,

I love you! YOU are the greatest! Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness in unsearchable. (Psalms 145:3) There are not enough words to give You the full praise deserved for Your faithfulness to Your daughter. I smile bringing her to Your throne of grace, mercy, and abundant love today! Before the foundation of the earth You set Your heart, Your never ending love, and Your full attention towards her. (Romans 8:29) How sweet You are to make her Your priority and Your masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10) You purposely chose to be Faithful and True to Your daughter whom You love with all Your heart. (Revelation 19:11) Nothing on earth could be more healing than Your abundance of love and care for her. (1 John 4:16) Nothing! She is safe in Your love. Completely safe. (Psalm 91:4) May she rest in Your presence today. (Exodus 33:14)

Father, in the Name of Jesus, give Your daughter the strength she desperately needs to come against the paralyzing fear trying to take a tight grip of her heart and dispel it’s hold with Your complete and perfect love for her. (1 John 4:18)  Your perfect love is the answer she is looking for. (1 John 4:16) Others may have forgotten her, but you have her name written on Your palm. (Isaiah 49:16) Once Your love takes a tight grip on her heart she will be overcome with joy, peace, and righteousness. (Isaiah 60:5 and Romans 14:17) Not only do You SEE her today, Your FOCUS is upon her and her heart. (1 Samuel 16:7) When You strengthen her fearful heart with Your love her sorrow and sighing will flee. (Isaiah 51:11)

Satan might have whispered a time or two in Your daughter’s ear she is unworthy. When she feels unwarranted shame and condemnation, remind her that You are not mad at her but madly in love with her! (Romans 8:38-39)  Make a mighty move today to prove Your love for her just as the father did when the prodigal son came home. This loving father saw the face of his beloved son and called for a celebration! Your daughter’s face is turned towards You Father, lift her weary head up to see the love in Your eyes and call for a celebration of Your love for her! (Ephesians 3:17-21, Psalm 3:3, 2 Chronicles 16:9, Luke 15:21-22) You have not left her, not for one single minute. (Deuteronomy 31:6) You are near. (James 4:8) Whisper louder than Satan in her ear so she knows You are here for her to the end. (Acts 18:10 and Jeremiah 29:11 KJV)

Father, help her to refuse to be moved by the “seen” and believe in the “unseen” work of Your Capable Hands. (2 Corinthians 4:18) Today, this day, this minute, this second, her new life of freedom, super abundance, unexpected blessings, sudden answers to prayers and happiness begins. (Isaiah 43:18-19) Amen and amen again.

Father remind her to be diligent to “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God” and You will lift the confusion and distractions from her eyes to see clearly the path of security and protection Your kingdom gives. (Matthew 6:33 and 1 Corinthians 13:12) Remind her to resist the devil and he will flee from her. (James 4:7)

Take her face in Your hands right now and speak to her to “abide” in You continually day and night for protection, wisdom, and strength. She can do this by keeping her eyes focused on Your Word (Joshua 1:8 and John 15:4-5) and her mouth speaking Your Word. (Proverbs 21:23) Her abundant life is in speaking Your Words. (Proverbs 18:21) I pray for her heart to contain Your Words over and abundant. (Luke 6:45) I pray for her to arise and shine! (Isaiah 60:1-2)

What does Your Word say? It says, my friend is the head and not the tail. (Deuteronomy 28: 1-14) It says, peace and joy are hers because You are pleased with her. (Romans 14:17) It says, You promise to release her feet from the snare of the enemy. (Psalm 25:12-14) It says, by Jesus’ stripes she is healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5) It says, You are the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End. YOU are HER God. (Revelation 1:8) It says, You have an expected end to this current season of questioning and worry for my friend. (Jeremiah 29:11 and Daniel 2:21)

It says, dry bones hear the Word of the Lord! (Ezekiel 37:4) It says, You can breathe life into her. Life abundant. (Ezekiel 37:5 and John 10:10) Nothing is too hard for YOU! (Jeremiah 32:27) You do what you please. (Psalm 115:3) And it pleases YOU knowing my friend has the faith to believe in Your Word. (Hebrews 11:6) YOU have the first and the final Word in her life and You say, You will rescue her with Your love. Today!  (Psalm 33:4-6 and Psalm 18:19) Amen.

Just as the one leper came back to thank You, we thank You for answering this prayer! (Luke 17:11-19)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love you!

Sheila

Go celebrate His love for YOU!

“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Luke 15:21-24

The Answer is Yes

Sheila’s Prayer for you today

Father,

I love you! Thank you for the honor of praying Your promises over Your adored daughter. (2 Corinthians 6:18) Your Word is the  truth she can depend on. (2 Samuel 7:28)  Give her the confidence she needs to trust completely in the power of Your Word prayed for her this day. (Proverbs 14:26 ESV) May she be of full assurance Your promises are “Yes and Amen” in Christ Jesus for her personally. (2 Corinthians 1:20) You never say “no” to Your commanded Word. You answer is always “yes!” (Deuteronomy 28:8)

The answer is “yes” You love her! (Romans 5:8) The answer is “yes” You will provide for her! (Psalm 37:25 and Philippians 4:19) The answer is “yes” You care! (Matthew 6:26) The answer is “yes” You will deliver her from all her afflictions! (Psalm 34:19)  The answer is “yes” You are fighting this battle too tough for her. She is to only stand still and see YOU move on her behalf.  (Exodus 14:13-14)  The answer is “yes” You will wipe away every tear she has cried. (Revelation 21:3-4) The answer is “yes” You are her God and You will be with her wherever she goes, always! (Psalm 31:14 and Joshua 1:9) Your answer is “Yes” to her!

Father, I want my friend to take the Hand powerful enough to create oceans, seas, and mountains and trust Your sovereignty in choice of direction for her life. (Isiah 41:10 and Proverbs 3:5-6) Lift Your daughter’s head high above her adversary’s and demolish her paralyzing fears with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. (Psalm 3:3 and Philippians 4:7)  May she know Your ways are the highest and best for her.  May Your ways be her life-long pursuit! (Isaiah 55:8-9)  As she “follows hard” after You, give Your daughter good things, bountifully, in the mighty name of Jesus. (Psalm 63:8 and Psalm 65:11)

Father, King David cried out to You and You answered delivering him from the snares, tricks, and taunts of his enemies! May You do the same for my friend. Be her inner strength, her protector, her shelter, and shield from the plan of the enemy who is bullying her into “giving up.” When stress and worry entangle Your daughter and the meanness of satan overwhelms her, your ears will hear her cry! You will even part the heavens and come down to attend to her! Reach down and take a loving hold of her. Rescue her out of the deep waters of despair smothering her today. Bring her out into a spacious place for her to breathe, relax and rest! (Psalm 18 and Psalm 66:12)

Rescue her simply because you delight in her and love her so!
Psalm 18:19

Stoop down and give her the attention she needs Father. (Psalm 18:35)  She feels alone. She feels weak. Therefore, fill her days with laughter, love, and beauty. (Proverbs 17:22) Even when she feels like running from you, chase her down, to prove You are faithful no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13) Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. Give her mercy when she is the last to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Let her taste and see that You are good and she is fortunate! “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 (AMP)

God, our human minds are very limited. Your revelation and knowledge is vast! (1 Corinthians 2:10) Would you show my friend Your greatness and astound her with an exceedingly abundant answer to this prayer? (Ephesians 3:20-21)  Would you allow her to see the movement of heaven on her behalf and reveal the answer to her prayers on earth this very day! (Luke 11:13) Show her You are the God of Wonders! (Psalm 77:14) Her God, who will do Wonders for her!

In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed!

Amen and Amen,
I love you!

Sheila
