Day Sixteen of Powerful Praying

Day Sixteen

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
 Wholeness of Heart

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23

Father,

I ask You to heal Your child—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—so they are healthy and whole. Jehovah Rapha, our healer, cure their diseases. Repair their heart. Restore back their life. Will You make Your child whole for Your kingdom’s sake? Your child cannot do kingdom work if they are broken, tired, sick, emotionally unstable, or have an un-renewed mind. Your beloved needs to be whole—mind, body, soul, and spirit—to serve Your purposes and fight spiritual battles! Heal them so they can be Your vessel of honor. (2 Timothy 2:21) My prayer is for You to miraculously intervene. (Luke 18:27)

If You choose, in Your infinite wisdom, to heal in a more wise way; I pray this:

Father, I pray for You to reveal anything the enemy has hidden from Your child’s sight that may keep them from their wholeness. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.(Daniel 2:22) I ask You to grant Your child the wisdom needed to take the first step in the healing of their mind, body, soul, and spirit? Is it to see a doctor? Is it to receive counsel from a wise godly friend? Is it to change an eating habit? Is it to balance their life? Is it to put nonsense aside and purse the passion You have placed in their heart? Is it to start a in-depth study of the Bible? Is it to forgive someone? Is it to repent of a hidden sins? Is it to be the first to make amends in a broken relationship? Is it to consecrate themselves and take time to hear Your voice for direction? We are asking for the wisdom of which You promised to give of generously! (James 1:5)

Lord, move Your unseen hand today to strengthen their broken, bruised, and tired heart and body! Thank You that You reach down from heaven to attend to Your child out of devotion and love. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. (2 Samuel 22:17-20 NIV) Yes, rescue them simply because You love them so!

When this healing happens for Your child, may they be just like the one leper who turned back to THANK YOU! One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. (Luke 17:11-19 NIV)

Praises to You, our One True King!

May it be so!

In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray,
Amen and amen.
Love,
Sheila

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
Amazing Things Happen

Joshua told the people, “Consecrate (Sanctify) yourselves,
for tomorrow LORD will do amazing things (wonders) among you.”
Joshua 3:5

Beloved Family,

What happens when your prayers collide with the invincible love of God? Amazing things happen! Joshua 3:5 is what I want to pray for you today. Take another look: Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow LORD will do amazing things (wonders) among you.”  “Wonders” and “amazing things” is God’s promise in this scripture. More specifically, the promise is God taking a “difficultly and hard circumstance” and turning it into a “miraculous and marvelous thing.” (Strong’s Concordance 6381-82)

Is this what you need my friend?

One of our sister’s left a comment a few months ago that will tug at your heart: “My husband and I are going through some things right now that “look as good as dead” and buried at this point. These prayers have really hit home and helped me to keep having faith.” Many prayers, crying out to God, and tears later (consecrating yourself) she has now seen her “difficult and hard circumstances” turn into “miraculous and marvelous things.” Just yesterday she left us this message that will thrill your heart to pieces:

Take a look at Sheri’s “amazing things”: “I want to let you know how much your prayers have meant. My husband is currently in jail and the kids and I are having a very hard time financially, and emotionally. There are days that I am sure that you wrote your prayer just for me and my husband. I’ve been printing them off and sending them to him. He finally got saved and is clean and sober. We just have to get by until Dec. so we can be a real family again. I pray that god blesses you as much as you have been a blessing to me.”

Let’s pray!

Our Father,

I ask You in the Mighty Name of Jesus to do a “miraculous and marvelous thing” out of my friend’s “difficult and hard circumstance.” (Joshua 3:5)  Thank You for moving on behalf of Your children so faithfully. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. (Exodus 14:14) There is nothing too difficult for You; at all! (Jeremiah 32:27) You will complete the good work You have started, exceedingly and abundantly! Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6) May this story and those of all of this prayer family continue with seeing more marvelous things!  We have prepared/sanctified our hearts by repenting, forgiving, meditating on Your Word, and yielding to Your truths … now we await amazing things!

May it be so!

In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray,
Amen and amen.
Love,
Sheila

Day Twelve of Powerful Praying

Day Twelve

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
 Provision is Promised

So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”
Genesis 22:14

Father,

We praise You for bending Your ear to the prayer of the destitute and not despising our cry. (Psalm 102:17) You know Your child’s financial needs before we ask. (Matthew 6:8) They are carrying the heavy burden of a desperate lack of finances. (Matthew 11:28-30) Exhausted wouldn’t be a strong enough word to describe their heart. They need You! (Isaiah 40:29) When there is worry, fret, and fear, Your child is susceptible to Satan’s attacks and whispers. (1 Peter 5:8) They feel the lack and it makes them feel fearful, cold, and alone. But, they are not. You are their Faithful and True God. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Father, fear, shame, condemnation, and desperation haunt them and so we cry out for You to give relief. Thank You that when the righteous call, You do hear and You do deliver them. (Psalm 34:17) Father, please remove Your child’s lack and provide a way of escape: wisdom, a miracle, a plan, or a change. As they trust in You to provide, grant them financial wisdom. (Proverbs 15:22) Direct their steps to Your provision for them.

Your Name is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider. You are our provider. Thank You for this dire situation to show who You are! The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1 ESV) You will not allow Your precious sheep to be crushed underneath this burden. But You will give them peace that the world does not have. (John 16:33) A peace that surpasses all human understanding. (Philippians 4:7) Remind Your child daily to be anxious for nothing, for You are working on their behalf as Jehovah Jireh. (Isaiah 64:1-4)

Your promises say this: For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. (Psalm 72:12 ESV) What a beautiful promise for a child of Yours who feels they have no help. They need not worry because they have You. What better comfort could there be than You relieving your child’s fear of lack with Your provision, help, and attention? Thank You Father for Your personal care! (Luke 12:24) Thank you Jehovah Jireh for Your faithfulness. You will be true to Your holy name, no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13)

May it be so!

Day Eleven of Powerful Praying

Day Eleven

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
You Can Make an Uneven Exchange

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:1-3

When your prayers collide with the invincible love of God you make uneven exchanges! The key word in the above verse Isaiah 61:1-3 is Instead. God is the giver of good gifts. So, when you give Him something with the intent to exchange it. He replaces it with good. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17)  I love the Message version of this verse. Take a look: So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. There is nothing fickle or two-faced about God. When He is involved in the exchange you don’t get what you deserve you get His goodness in return!

Let’s pray for an exchange!

Father,

You child is holding tight to something You want them to let go of! Regret? Fear? Sin? Depression? Rebellion? Hurt? Pain?  Father, grant Your child the wisdom, self-control, and strength needed to exchange with a “good gift” from You. Give the wisdom needed to fend off the giants of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness and confidently them hand over. Replace the emptiness with Your love and presence. What other exchanges should be made?

Instead,

Where there has been great fear can be perfect love, abounding.
Where there has been depression give Your beloved a sweet song to sing.
Where there has been loneliness fill their days with loving God moments.
Where they have missed the mark, You  forgive Your child.
Where there has been a betrayal introduce Your faithfulness.
Where you child has been abandoned by loved ones, rescue them.
Where there has been a great loss overwhelm them with a 100 fold restoration.
Where these has been grief and mourning pour out tears of joy.
Where they have lost their earthly reputation seat Your child in heavenly places.
Where You beloved has been despised by man grant Your Favor to them.

May Your child make the “great exchange” with you today! Beloved Friend, what do you would you like to exchange with God today? ________________________________

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
Your Heart Will Feel Home Sweet Home

Abide in me, and I in you.
John 15:4

Father,

I pray as Your beloved child abides in Your presence they feel at home. (Psalm 16:11) Satan is so relentless in his tricks that your child feels they do not belong. (2 Corinthians 2:11) Some feel like outsiders. Whisper into their ear there is a reason for this; they are a royal child of Your Kingdom and will never fit in this world. (1 Peter 2:9 and John 17:16) Take them to the holy scriptures again of the story of the Levites; one of the twelve tribes of Your beloved Israel. The Levites were not to inherit land like the other 11 tribes. Their inheritance was to be YOU. But to the tribe of Levi, Moses had given no inheritance; the LORD, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he promised them. (Joshua 13:33)

“Home Sweet Home” is with You Father.

I pray Your child believes in the finished work of Christ over the lies of the enemy. (John 19:30) Satan was just a beast in the field of dust of which man was made. (Genesis 3:1) Cursed to eat that dust after he deceived Eve. (Genesis 3:14) Now because of the finished work of Christ Jesus, Satan is under Your child’s feet. (Romans 16:20) May your child’s mind be renewed to battle the lies, schemes, whispers and accusations of this enemy by remembering who they are and to Whom they belong. (Romans 12:2) …YOU.

As your children learn to abide in You and Your Word; May their eyes look to You, alone. But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge–do not give me over to death. (Psalm 141:8) I pray their mind be steadfast on You. (1 Corinthians 2:16 and Isaiah 26:3) May their heart’s be consecrated unto You. (Joshua 3:5) May their ears hear clearly Your voice when You speak. (John 10:27) May their mouth only speak Your truths. (Luke 6:45) May their feet spread the good news of the Gospel, the family business, and work to plow the fields for Your Kingdom’s sake. (Romans 10:15) May they walk worthy of this call as they follow hard after YOU. (Ephesians 1:4) Lift your child’s head high for You are enthralled with their beauty and remind Your child this: THEY ARE MOST WORTHY OF YOUR LOVE! (Psalm 3:3 and Psalm 45:11) Welcome “Home Sweet Home!”

Day Nine of Powerful Praying

Day Nine

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
You Can be Assured of God’s Completely Devoted Love

I have loved you with an everlasting love.
Jeremiah 31:3

Dear Beloved Friend,

God’s love is abounding. He is the “LORD Abounding in Love,” His love is plenty. He couldn’t love you more. It is abundant! His love is prevalent. His love will fill your heart to capacity. The Hebraic word that describes God’s love for you is chesed. Chesed speaks of His devoted love for YOU. A love you can depend on because it is firmly rooted in God’s character. His character of being loyal, steadfast, tender, merciful and covenant-keeping is the type of love You can trust. Even better, chesed is the type of love that accepts a moral obligation for the welfare of a person. The love God has for you does not depend on your response only His obligated (because He chose to be) love for YOU. Chesed love is a love focused on God’s steadfast character and commitment to be faithful and true to YOU. Will you let God love you and show you what devoted love is?

Let’s pray!

Father,

You are most worthy to be praised! Your devoted love heals hearts healthy and whole!
Satan’s job is to break your child’s focus off of the devoted love you have for them! If he can get them to doubt Your love; he has succeeded in weakening their mind, body, soul and spirit ALL at once. Satan just needs this one bulls-eye of a shot. This tailor made arrow is meant to paralyze your beloved in fear. (Ephesians 6:16) But, your perfect love casts our fear! There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)

Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, give my friend the strength they so desperately need to set their face like flint and follow hard after You. Whatever they have done in the past to feel loved, secure, or whole (by the worlds standards) has not worked! “You have circled this mountain long enough. Now turn north.” (Deuteronomy 2:3) Satan has tried to confuse Your child with believing his most FATAL lie: they are unloveable. Don’t gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. (Micah 7:8) But, they will arise from this lie.

Arise my friend. Arise and let God love you! Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. (Psalm 143:8) Arise and be wrapped from head to toe in His devoted love for you. Be assured; when your prayers collide with the invincible devoted love of God you will never, ever be the same. I have loved you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” (Deuteronomy 7:9)

May it be so!

In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray,
Amen and amen.

Day Eight of Powerful Praying

Day Eight

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
Joy Unspeakable In God’s Presence

Father,

Oh, the power of Your gift of JOY! The Greek word in the Bible for joy means enjoyable bliss. For Your child, this may feel inconceivable. They have lacked true joy for so long they’ve forgotten what it feels like. Will You lift Your beloved’s head from the weariness and downtrodden depression to see You and Your joy? But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. (Psalm 3:3 ESV) Shield them with love and joy!

Give Your child just what is needed to sing joyfully again. (Psalm 101:1) Remind them that You care so much about their pain that You have their tears in a bottle. (Psalm 56:8) You are not far off and distant, but are close by. The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. (Psalm 28:7 ESV) You are safe for them to put their trust in! Thank you!

Because of Your presence, Your child can be joyful even in the midst of pain. Jesus was able to endure the cross because of the joy set before Him. (Hebrews 12:2) That type of joy was worth the pain to Him. This particular joy is beautiful, and yet so hard to describe it leaves one speechless. (1 Peter 1:8) Your child can be afraid, yet filled with Your joy. What a life-changing gift joy is! (Matthew 28:8) This joy can be their strength when they don’t have enough energy to shed one more tear. (Nehemiah 8:10) Such sorrow You can turn into joy and dancing. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy. (Psalm 30:11 NIV) May they take Your hand and dance!

Thank You, our good and gracious God, for giving Your child enjoyable bliss! When You brought the Israelites out of captivity from Babylon, they celebrated and their sadness left them. Those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. (Isaiah 51:11 NIV) Please deliver Your beloved from the bondage of their depression and sadness so they too may sing with joy. Where is enjoyable joy? Your presence! You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.(Psalm 16:11) May they not move an inch out of Your presence as You give them Your gift of enjoyable JOY!

May it be so!

Day Seven of Powerful Praying

Day Seven

What Happens When Your Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God
God Resurrects Something

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in us.
Romans 8:11

Each and every one of us has something we have lost we pray would come back to life! There are failing marriages, lost careers, lack of finances, broken relationships, deteriorating health, empty hopes, dying dreams; and so much much more. I am confident of this one thing from my very own past experiences: When Prayers Collide with the Invincible Love of God He can Resurrect Something Dead Back to Life Abundantly.

As I sat down to write this prayer, I wanted to pray the wise way of praying for “something of God’s will to come back to life in our lives.” Which was to first pray for those who need a serious resurrection in a wounded place in their life, heart, or spirit to be given God’s supernatural strength and most importantly His grace to carry them through these trying days. I knew strength and grace were needed to endure all the pain and desperation that was clouding their hearts and minds. Which is so very true. God’s strength and grace are miraculous gifts. Gifts quite frankly we would be lost without.

My prayer then blossomed when I found “strength” and “power” are used interchangeably in many different versions in the Bible. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power (strength) is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9) The strength God gives the weak is the same power He used to raise Jesus from the dead.  What does this mean to you? God giving strength is also His way of preparing you for your part in the resurrection of the something you are praying to come back to life.

Let me explain.

God gives you the strength to get up out of bed and build your faith by opening His Word to equip yourself with His power. Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. (Romans 10:17). The power of His word abiding in you can resurrect any dry bones back to life. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (John 15:7)

God gives you the strength to forgive; therefore you are forgiven. Once you have forgiven you can approach the throne and ask anything according to His will and He will do it.  For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14) Ask and it shall be given to you. (1 John 5:14)

God gives you the strength to rejoice, pray without ceasing, and to give Him thanks. Three powerful weapons of warfare in the Kingdom of God! Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) Weapons are given for strength and power.

Do you see it?

God giving you His strength equips you with resurrection power! I decided to not just ask God to strengthen you to endure but to ask Him to empower YOU with His resurrection power to live a life abundant. Do you need a resurrection in your life?

Let’s pray!

Father,

Jesus has risen! He has risen indeed. (Luke 24) Your power was used to resurrect Jesus from the grave. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. (Matthew 28:6) Strengthen Your child with this resurrection power. (Romans 8:11) I pray my friend would be strengthened to: pray, give, believe, ask, forgive, give thanks, praise, rejoice, and equip themselves with Your Word. All these things Your child can do to participate in this resurrection. Obedience to Your commands brings Your promises to pass. (Isaiah 1:19) I pray the earthly resurrection of marriages restored, hearts mended, lives redeemed, bodies healed, dreams to take off, and for an abundance of hope. (John 11:25-26) Friend, I pray you have the strength to endure until you see your resurrection. (Isaiah 40:29)

May it be so! For it is written. (Matthew 4:4)

In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray!

Amen and Amen.
Love,
Sheila
