Elohim, God, Mighty Creator. You create the most beautiful of things from nothingness. For that alone you are most worthy of our praise! (Revelation 4:11) You created Your beloved child because it pleased You exceedingly! (Colossians 1:16) Just the mere thought of them pleased You enough to call for their heart to beat and their lungs to breath in life for Your purposes. Your work in and through them is oh-so-wonderfully perfect. (Psalm 139:13)
You alone created Your own in an awesomely, wonderfully, and incomparably magnificent way. (Psalm 139:14) Your child has been chosen by You to be a joint heir with Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:17) How endearing that You call Your child, “Mine.” “But now, this is what the LORD says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1) Your beloved’s name is purposely written on Your palm. (Isaiah 49:16) You love them devotedly and nothing can separate them from You or Your steadfast love! (Romans 8:38-39)
Father, with just the dust of the earth and the breath of Your nostrils You created man. (Genesis 2:7) Your child believes as though they are just of dust. (Psalm 103:14) They have forgotten a very important and vital truth: they are of YOU! (John 1:12-13) Battling unworthiness has been hard for this dear one. Will You please speak life into their weary, wounded heart? (John 6:63)
Remove their cloak of shame and clothe them with Your Son, Christ Jesus. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Galatians 3:26-27) May their worthiness be made real to them this day. They belong to YOU!
Your child is not defined by past sins, harm done against them, where they live or work, how much is in their bank account, the shape of their body or contour of their face, or temptations they may struggle with. No, Jesus provided their identity at the cross. (2 Peter 1:3) May Your beloved know with every fiber of their being who they are and to whom they belong. Your child is wanted and loved by You.
Speak to Your child to rise up as the holy, spotless, blameless child of God they are. (Ephesians 1:4-6) May they take their place with Jesus at Your right hand and work mightily for Your kingdom’s sake. (Ephesians 1:4-6) Their identity is not a mystery. They are set apart for You, Father. This is the truth and is to be believed. (1 Thessalonians 2:13) Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. (Jeremiah 1:5)
LAVISH Your love on this child of Yours this day to break any lies they’ve believed about their identity! See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1a NIV) Renew their mind with Your truth of who they are in Christ. May Your beloved, adored, treasured child make themselves at home in Your steadfast love today and always. (John 15:9)
May it be so!
