Day One of Twelve Days of Praying

The Gift of Your Covenant Love To Us

Thank You for the gift and assurance of Your covenant love. Your child is here at this moment to lay it all out before You and Your covenant love—every need, trouble, fear, distress, concern, hurt, injustice, and strain. I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. (Psalm 142:2 NIV) Father, take some time in this moment to assure Your child they can trust You do have an expected end to this current season of questioning and fear, heartbreak and sickness, loneliness and shame. (Daniel 2:21, Proverbs 3:5-6) Yes, Your beloved child needs a touch of Your love today for their strength of heart. I pray my friend will see Your loyal love tangibly with their very own eyes this day! I pray Your child leans upon You and Your faithful love for them always and in every heart-breaking circumstance they may go through. (Deuteronomy 7:9) Because of Your unfailing love for them I pray there be no room in their hearts for doubting Your love; ever. (Matthew 14:31)

We are blessed You are a covenant keeping God bound to Your Holy Word. Your Word is settled, most powerful, true, and all we need to be healed, and empowered to live free, happy, and whole. (Psalm 119:89, John 10:10, and Romans 4:21) Your Word in 1Corinthians 2:9 says this; “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.”  I pray Your child sees Your love so powerfully, miraculously, and sweetly for themselves this day! Wrap Your love around their weary hearts and cast out the fear that has them paralyzed. An unwelcome fear that can show up by enduring a dreadful day or just watching the world news. This combined with personal fears and humanness… overwhelms! (1 John 4:18) Therefore, I pray Your child is assured there is never a moment that fear should have it’s grip; for You are still on the throne and You rule with a most perfect covenantal love. (Psalm 47:8) AMEN!

Father, for those in areas on fire, horrible weather, holiday sadness, broken homes, and in anxious circumstances remind them of the most perfect and welcomed gift of your covenantal love! In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray and give our thanks!

Me too Barbara. Although Dave is doing better he can still hurt me deeply. His life is just so very sad. He cares about no one but himself. My mom passed away two weeks ago and I’m reeling from her death and then he just doesn’t care how much he uses me. I need to separate from him for while. Give him an inch and he takes a mile. Oh well. Love and learn. Praying for you. Xxoo

  20. Thank you for this prayer. It’s timely since God has decided right now to put me through difficult circumstances. I am giving it all to Him. I’m trusting Him to carry me through. I’m trusting He has a plan and I’m hopeful for that future. I pray for all those who are hurting because the holidays should be about joy. Sometimes that is difficult. I will do everything in my power to focus on Jesus’ love that He proved by coming down here. It makes me truly thankful despite my despair. Praise You God for Your greatest gift and please, please, please help all of us to truly grasp the concept and understand what You have done for us and respond. Please forgive us who want so much to honor You and give You our all, but feel like failures. Please heal our misguided perceptions. And Amen.

  21. Amen…Bless the Lord, O my soul as I continue to trust in You.
