Day Five of Twelve Days of Praying

Day Five
The Gift of a Resurrection

Thank you for the gift of Your resurrection power. (Luke 24) Your power was used to resurrect our Jesus from the grave and I ask You to resurrect the broken pieces in my friend’s life and heart. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. (Matthew 28:6) Father, strengthen Your child with this resurrection power this day. (Romans 8:11) One Word from You can bring dry bones back to life. (Ezekiel 37:4) Yes, I pray my friend would be strengthened in heart to endure until they see Your hand visibly move on their behalf. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Soooo many of the prayer requests we left at Your feet on our day four of praying are urgent requests requiring; Your power…a resurrection… a miracle…. the impossible!  Father, Answer their cries with Your goodness!

Many are desperate for provision financially… Father, provide!
Many are crying out for marriages; as the wait has been long…. Father, restore!
Bring together those you have called to be one!
Prodigals and the salvation of our lost loved ones are breaking hearts… Father, heal!
We need Your perfect love to cast out the fear smothering us!
Hearts long for family unity and love abundant during the holiday season!
Those lonely, in grief, and regret need Your grace and mercy!
Marriages need more devotion, love, and respect than ever.. draw them closer!
Healing in bodies and broken hearts is our greatest need; as some are paralyzed!
We need wisdom given generously and our spiritual eyes open to root causes!
Give them strength abundant to overcome addictions!
Open doors of opportunities for destinies to be fulfilled for Your glory!
Direction and favor in job opportunities and court dates are needed!
Father, ground us spiritually in our identity in Christ Jesus!
Yes, we want to know Your heart and have spiritual eyes and ears!
Heal their bodies from sickness and from hidden wounds!
Wrap your children in Your love….. tight!

Until You answer and provide in Your timing and with Your wisdom; I pray Your child has the strength to: pray, give, believe, ask, forgive, give thanks, praise, rejoice, and equip themselves with Your Word. All these things Your child can do to participate in the resurrection they need in their life. Yes, obedience to Your commands brings Your promises and good and perfect will to pass. (Isaiah 1:19) I pray the earthly resurrection of: marriages restored, hearts mended, lives redeemed, bodies healed, dreams to take off, provision financially and most of all; an abundance of hope in Your child’s heart to press on to the high prize in Christ Jesus. (John 11:25-26 and Philippians 3:14) I pray this to be, so that Your child will be healthy, whole, and empowered to be prepared as ones who put their hands to the plow for Your Kingdom “for such a time as this!” Come Lord Jesus, Come! (Revelation 22:20)

May it be so! For it is written. (Matthew 4:4)
In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray!

Amen and Amen.

  10. Thank you for these prayers, Sheila. I continue to ask for prayer for my married daughter who doesn’t really speak to us. She is bitter and resentful about how we raised her. She doesn’t speak to her brothers either. She has made her in-laws her only family. It is very sad for us.

  11. Lord,
Thy will be done in my marriage, my husband’s life, my life and our family. I leave all this at the foot of cross. I choose not to worry because you are in control. Your Word promises to work all things for my good.
Thank you Lord for the gift of peace in the midst of the storm.

  12. Yes and amen!

  13. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus – the One who is ALWAYS Faithful and True Amen (I loved that the other day!)

  14. Healing my body and my broken heart is my greatest need. Once again, facing yet another betrayal of someone I invested my heart and my life in for five years. Now they’ve decided, they just didn’t know how to make the relationship work. Reeling on the heels of my mother’s death, this isn’t easy as it triggers my deep mother wound. I ask God to help me forgive and I am grateful that I don’t feel the need to chase this person and beg them to love me. Either they do or they don’t. God will heal me, just like he did the blind man, in His own special way. I will trust in his healing touch. He knows me better than I know myself. He knows exactly what I need. Praying for all these requests and lay them at the cross, where His love poured out. I’m in awe of Him. xxoo

  15. Amen and Amen!

  16. Amen and Amen!

  17. Amen and Amen. Praying for my brother and Son. God help them know you!

  18. Amen and Amen!! Thank You Jesus!!

  23. Amen and Amen! Lord you know his heart. I ask you bring this prodigal home. He is lost without you. He has so many bad influences surrounding him, he can’t see his way out and doesn’t have the confidence to do want needs to be done to take care of himself. You’re the only one that can lead him to the foot of the cross for healing , forgiveness and your everlasting love and for your saving grace. Help him Lord to see the light and move toward you. Please Give him all the confidence and strength he needs to take that step of faith. I pray you will touch his heart and mind and give him the uncomfortable senses to know that he needs you in ALL circumstances. I’ve prayered long and hard and have to leave it to you to do what is best. Amen

Dear Lord, please help our world and the people in it. I’ve seen so much selfishness, selfcenteresness , greed and tourmoil that it literally makes my blood boil. I feel so angry and hurt that individuals can be so nasty and ruthless to others. They hurt others and don’t think one thought about it. It makes me furious. All I can do is pray that you will take care of each and every one. Show them that truth and honesty is the the best choice for any situation. Make them uncomfortable for their lies and misdeeds. Only you can turn them from their wicked ways. Amen and Amen.

  24. Amen!
