Day Nine of the Twelve Days of Prayer

Day Nine
The Gift of God Taking Your Battles

Thank You for the gift of You battling on behalf of Your beloved child. My friend is so very tired of the battle. The list is long of their trying efforts, midnight pleadings, and frustrated days. They are spinning their wheels and stuck in an overwhelmed life. Father, they need You to FIGHT for them. (Exodus 14:14) Be their Ever Present Help in their battle. (Psalm 28:7) What is a battle for them is of great importance to You. Yes, You delight in being involved in every detail of Your child’s life. You never meant for them to feel alone. (Deuteronomy 31:6) May they never question why You fight for them. May they KNOW You love them and fight for them as a devoted Father! You are their Warrior. You will not let them fall. You will never leave them helpless. You take their hands and hold tight. The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. (Psalm 37:23-24) Friend, God is holding you tight and if He is for you who can be against you? (Romans 8:28-31) No one and nothing.

It is finished! Let Him FIGHT for you!
May it be so!
In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray,
Amen and amen.

  11. Such a difficult season. The loss of my mother a month ago and then our daughter we spiritually adopted has decided she no longer wants to be part of our family coupled with the holidays and my son telling me I disgust him and he doesn’t like me, is almost too much. The grief and sadness is with me. I must continue to get up and go to work every day. Yes, I need Jesus. But I told Him last night that I don’t like Him and not even sure I love Him. It’s hard to love those who have brought so much hurt into our lives. I need to experience Him like never before. I’ve searched and searched and searched for Him and it only results in more loss. Yes, I am battle weary. thank you for your prayers. Merry Christmas Sheila.

  17. Amen and amen! Father, please help my sisters in Christ and I to heal/overcome whatever the it is within us that has us holding back fully trusting in you. May we fully surrender and give you full control of our life so you can fight our battles without our interference. Give us a word, healing, love and forgive us of our sins and worry/fear/lack of belief and help us overcome.

  18. Dear Heavenly Father,
This battle against the enemy trying to destroy my marriage and family has been going on for so many years. I have grown weary at times but I know you promised me restoration. I cling to that promise knowing your word will not fail. No matter what it looks like to the world I choose to look to you and believe you. Thank you Lord for fighting this battle and for going after my hubby who is a lost soul.
It is finished in the name of Jesus!
