Day Three
The Gift of Healing Hearts

Father,

We praise You for being the Healer of the broken-hearted. (Psalm 147:3, Psalm 34:18) Your name, El Roi, assures us that You are the God who sees heartbreak. (Genesis 16:13) Father, You saw Hannah in anguish and heard her cry, “I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.” (1 Samuel 1:16 NIV) Hannah’s pain ran deep; like it does for so many of us today. What do we love about this story? You answered Hannah with Your goodness. For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. (1 Samuel 1:27).  Your children face some hard stuff on the earth: maybe pain in a marriage; a child may be a prodigal; a disease may be diagnosed; or finances drowning; maybe a relationship strained; a regret choking; dreams dying; a job could be lost; or addiction, exhaustion, betrayal, and depression … still, NOTHING is too hard for You. (Jeremiah 32:27) Nothing catches You by surprise. You are omniscient and all-knowing. (Psalm 147:4-5) You know every detail of their pain. You heard their heart break. You know they are weary and tired. And, You know exactly how to heal their weary and tired heart.

This heartbreak they carry casts a heavy shadow over every decision, every relationship, and every single thought they have. May You strengthen them healthy and whole again. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26 ESV)  May they breathe again! Yes Father, the ache that has taken their breath away is real for them. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus You replace the ache in Your precious one’s heart with an ache to know and love Your Son in all His majesty and splendor. Your invitation is that Your beloved be closer to Jesus than ever before. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) Hold Your child close and help them breathe, relax, and You be the lifter of their heads; for You are the Healer of their broken heart and wounded spirit; this day!

But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. (Psalm 3:3)

May it be so, for it is written! (Matthew 4:4)
In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray,

Amen and amen.
I Love You,
Sheila

  10. Amen to the Lover of my souls who heals my broken heart. Please pray for my daughters Katie and Jasmine as God speaks to them and directs them towards trusting Him so that He can heal their broken hearts.

  11. Amen and Amen! I am in a season of heart break. A day hasn’t gone by where I am questioning if he hears me. I’ve sought out temporarily relief through poor poor decisions only to find myself in a deeper hole. Continuing to cry out and feeling alone. I know that even when I can’t trace his hand, I can trust his heart but I truly need that rooted deeply in my heart for a change in my actions, spirit, heart, and soul.

  12. El Roi, You know…..Yes and amen!!

  13. AMEN!

  14. Amen!

  15. Please Lord is all I can ask. Heal the heartache that I’ve carried for so long. I can’t breathe. I’m drown in it. Please save this lost soul ( you know his heart). He’s struggling and it’s obvious. I’m asking for you to use me to get this sweet withdrawn, lonely, shamed heart to you. I’ve done EVERYTHING I know to do, to no avail. Help me, to help him and lead him to the foot of the cross. You know my pain and worry and you know is grief and sorrow. Please allow him to confide in me like no other. I’m here, praying wishing and dreaming for his salvation and change in this life. He my heart Lord. You know how desperate i feel. Help me please. Amen Amen and Amen.

  16. Amen and Amen!!

  17. In Jesus Name Amen and Amen!

  18. It’s the middle of the night. My grief is here. My mom is not. and along with her she took my last hope that she would ever love me like a daughter needs to be loved by a mother. My mother was mentally ill. She could not love me yet as child I did not know that. From her lack I told myself a story that it was me. I know it wasn’t me but somewhere deep down inside the struggle is there. For me to experience God’s love as mother seems like something that will never be. I never experienced it from my own mother. I believe our God who says He heals the broken hearted. Well that I am. Broken hearted and I feel sick with grief. I appreciate this prayer. this is a difficult season and I am a loss for words. I only feel sick with grief.

  19. AMEN!!
